I wish antis could see how weird they look from outside.

Debunking the latest anti conspiracy theory

Anti’s are now claiming that Rin is wearing Kagura’s kimono in the recently revealed magazine cover depicting SessRin. And some people are even claiming this is some sort of gotcha aimed at SessRin shippers. Which is beyond hilarious.

The “evidence” people are using is this fan made kimono from ali express that bastion of authenticity.

First Kagura wears multiple kimono’s in the manga. But the one they seem to be basing it on is this one. Notice how the butterflies are all enclosed in rings in the manga kimono. While the ali express Kimono has ringed and ringless butterflies.

Whats more Rin also wears a striped kimono with butterflies in the manga. Notice that Rin’s Kimono has butterflies and without rings.

The kimono Rin wears on the current cover. Is obviously based of the kimono she wears at the end of the manga. This especially obvious because the stripes on RIn’s kimono are tilted in the opposite direction to Kagura’s

When it comes to colors. Those are also based on Rin’s manga outfit. In the manga Rin’s first outfit is red and white.

So no. Rumiko did not give Rin, Kagura’s kimono. If anything the opposite is true Kagura’s kimono was copied from Rin’s original kimono which has rings.
