I got to thinking, maybe the left is correct. Maybe American does owe the whole world shelter and safety.

Therefore, I propose America takes over the world.

(I am of course being facetious but is this not the logical endpoint to demanding that America just give money to everybody who asks, shelter anybody who asks, use our men to defend anybody who asks? Make Earth Great Again.)

I've always said we're either the World Police or we aren't. If we are, then the rest of the world needs to live by our rules and do what we say. If we aren't, then the rest of the world can't come crying to us when it can't defend itself or needs us to fund its militaries. At the very least, if another country wants our help there better be something in it for us.
