I can imagine that Tobirama was a menace before the founding of Konoha, there's something inside him that broke so badly after his two brothers' deaths. He became so zealous and willing to strike down any Uchihas who tried to harm his anija and the rest of his family with no mercy. Every time he thought about his actions, the memory of Itama's death kept playing in his head, so he justified his actions as necessary..an 'eye for an eye' kind of thing. Hashirama always reminded Tobirama not to get carried away, which he listened to, but he drafted Edo Tensei in secret instead. (he's low-key a madman, but he is lucky to have people who reminded him of his humanity. That's why he looks chill asf now.)

'yes it does make more sense for gai's leg to be amputated if it is still in a fucking SOLID CAST over a decade after his injury because ohhhhhh my god that is NOT in any way sanitary' vs 'I am only pro-gai-leg amputation if people do not presume that 'amputation' = 'somehow nixing disability'' vs 'gai could have a KICKASS prosthetic leg designed by tenten with all sorts of cool tricks built into it and that's super fun!' vs 'prostheses are not a magic 'cure all' for limb loss. A prosthetic limb has SIGNIFICANT difficulties and pain attached, and many folks with limb differences STILL use a wheelchair regularly or as their primary means of mobilisation. Prostheses and wheelchairs are tools that allow disabled people to mobilise. Someone with a limb difference may use different tools according to their varying needs day by day' vs 'some fans seem to slap a prosthetic leg on Gai because they don't want to deal with him being a wheelchair user and that's Bad, Actually' vs etc. etc. etc.
