i’m right here
thank you
for being there, omgsp
you ruffled my feathers
you played with the stones
you never asked why i
gave you some tone
you drank from the flames
of disease and a stare
the platypus’s barbed claws
sink poison in there
you narrate and dictate
and advocate hell
the cards of the spade
act as your only tell
the bees and their what-nots
speak humbly “hark”
and sink in the blood
of the home of a shark
river running forward with nowhere to go
snow blowing the stone cold blinded trees
an ever waking ember of the sad heart I would know
and bees greeting the hollow graves of me
summer blows over with nowhere to hide
running river rides over the sky
an ever silent lover asks me if I’m by his side
I tell him only bees know how and why
running river, flying bees
why have you, fought me
in the dark, misty rain
full of silence, full of pain
will I ever, find the way
dark embers sing, run away
but friends come helping
and save the day
after the thunder something began
It was like fireworks
I turned around and saw a black cloud roaring with rain
and then there were daisies
on a small lit road
i found myself lost in the
moonlight
lost in the
crowd
of the small stores that
humbled me with warm
invitations.
crossing the road away
i noticed myself wanting to return
to the moonlight
wanting to return
to the crowd
as the cool rain
carried me away
to the warm hostel of hidden woes.
