Koga listened to her and huffed a bit, "those aren't huge deals in this world Koezu. However, I get that your world is a lot safer than here. I push you cause I want you to survive is all. I won't always be around to protect you got it?"
The demon sighs before he takes care of the rabbit before them, taking the knife from the girl in order to skin it afterwards and cutting up the meat.
"There we go. It's all up to you now," he gave her a smile as he walks over to the fire to place a stone over it to give her a surface to cook on.
Her sniffles continue every now and agian. "I KNOW that." She had figured it out with all the hunting, and fighting she'd seen so far. It didn't take much to figure out there were WORSE things.
And up until SHE arrived, she'd always assumed her father or brother would be around to help.
Only to have that ripped right out from under her.
"I am trying my best. Everything just feels backwards still." her arms moved to cross over her chest. Happy that her hand injury had stopped bleeding at least. Watching as he took care of the rabbit. The way her stomach twisted from seeing it made her feel sick.
But she fought the feeling down, this part she could handle. All it would take was getting adjusted to cooking on a stone instead of a stove.
"I'm sorry... For complaining. I know you're just trying to help me."
