Kari relaxed when Koga explained he was used to the rambling. She gave a nervous smile. "Then I'm willing to start looking there in the morning when it's safe." She said then frowned when Koga explained about what happened to his territory and why he is here.
"Oh! That isn't the best situation but I'm sure you and your pack will be okay in the end. I hope so at least. Sorry that you're in this situation." The child muttered, her heart rate going down as she relaxed.
When the wolf demon leader explained about how other demons would usually react, kill first, Kari shivered at the thought of another demon less kind finding her first. "Ah, y-yeh. I'm glad you found me then. I've never been in a situation like this so it's a bit overwhelming." She muttered, giving a soft sigh.
"I don't screech unless I'm in a lotta pain or really excited or something like that. Makes too much noise and then bullies will fine me or the people I was trying to talk to get a bit startled and eventually leaving." She informed shyly, moving to look at her now bandaged leg and smiled softly when he was done. "Thank you for the help with bandaging my leg. I appreciate it a lot. Still got some cuts and scraped but this was the worst one." She informed with a giggle and stretched, thinking over his offer.
"If it's okay I'd like to go with you at least for a bit. I don't know what exactly is going on and I don't wanna be found by someone not so kind and die, I still gotta lot to live for ya know. I can help with a few things if you need me to during the day too, I'm not totally useless! Oh, hang on."
Kari had just remembered something and chirped a few times while rummaging through her bag and pulled out a bag of potato chips and opened it, handing it to Koga. "Here, I found these a while ago as a snack before ending up here. It's a thank you gift for helping with my leg. It's not much but it's something." The child gave a smile, moving to apply some weight on her wounded leg to see how it felt. Koga definitely did a good job, the bandages weren't too tight and didn't hinder her in anyway but were still firm enough to not just fall off.
Koga nodded at what she says, glad she agreed to go to the village since it was the best idea he had for her situation. When she gives her condolences about his situation he merely shrugs a bit, "eh, it is what it is. We're making the most of it right now and further more we're safe. That's what's important right now."
Then he nods at her explanation of the screeching and chuckles a bit, "yeh, be glad for it since you're the perfect target fer a snack." The demon chuckles again before turning his head to listen to their surroundings along with smelling to make sure they were still safe. It wouldn't do to have dropped his guard and something attacks them. Especially with the scent of blood since on the air.
"Yer welcome pup, we'll take care of the rest of them injuries once we get back to the pack." It was his way of letting her know that it was fine for her to come with him back to where the pack was staying currently. It would be safest for the child right now and after stumbling across her he would feel guilty if she were to die if he left her.
The demon blinked as he listened to the child rummaging in her bag. When she triumphantly finds her target his ears twitch a bit at the crinkle of the snack's bag. Okay, he recognizes that sound and his tail wags a bit. "Heh, thanks fer the snack but you don't have to give it up if you don't want. Maybe save it for when we get back, yeh?" He smiles before turning to start walking back to his pack before getting a thought. "Think ya can walk there yerself or do ya need to be carried?"
