—science is wonderful!
drifting through the hallways with a nose buried deep into a book was a woman that cared little for her surroundings. with her petite stature she proved easy to miss, and yet the shock of aqua strands protruding from the top edges of the tome seemed to brilliant to ignore. for the most part, the bodies around her made way for her aimless wandering, parting into a path only she would walk before closing back in. her presence was demanding in that sense, her concentration so admirable no one would dare break it.
until, carelessly, someone unwittingly became her obstacle.
no matter the reason as to why this individual decided not to make way for her, it was still her fault for not being careful in her steps. still, as the pages were roughly shoved into her face so suddenly and alarmingly that her eyes closed shut, she couldn`t help but inwardly curse the situation. with a high pitched yelp, yamraiha took a step back, paying careful attention with how her hands recovered the text of which its pages were dangerously close to ripping out.
“sorry, so sorry—” the blue haired woman began, glancing upward to finally see who she`d collided with. “are you okay?”
Normally, Sharrkan was careful to pay attention to where he was going so as not to collide with anyone else who happened to be walking nearby. After all, the run in with that one teacher had been kinda weird and had made him a little more wary of paying attention to where he was going but old habits die hard and sometimes his old habits got the best of him. He had his bag slung haphazardly over his shoulder, open and threatening to dump everything out as he walked, and a binder was in his hands.
He was flipping through the loose sheets of paper like finding whatever it was was a matter of life and death and maybe to some it would be--to him it was just a matter of shit did I bring the homework or am I gonna have to turn around and run back to the dorm--
His thoughts were interrupted, however, when he made contact with someone else and he let out a surprised bark.
"Oh, hell, are you--" Sharrkan paused, not seeing anyone at first, though he caught a glimpse of bright blue which caused him to look down and see the female. "Sorry 'bout that!! Wasn't payin' too much attention..."
"I'm alright, are you? It's gonna take more than someone like you to do me any harm ... I didn't knock you over or somethin', right?"
