An announcement has to be made. I’m going to convert this blog into one where I post Epic Mickey stuff in general instead of focusing on a specific AU, since I don’t want it to lay dormant forever. An excerpt from my AU prologue.

“Due to the Blot going inside of him, Mickey's appearance started to shift from the mouse everybody loved to a dark, mysterious, and twisted version of himself.”

Redesigned Mickey when the Blot possessed him.

Here’s how the AU started. It’s gonna be kinda long so strap up and grab some snacks.

Story of it starts like the regular game, until we get to the part where Mickey gets to the inside of the Blot. As Mickey was going to get back his heart, the blot noticed his action and used its tentacles to prevent the mouse from grabbing it. Oswald seemed freaked out and tried to free his brother, but no matter what, the Blot tried to shove him away. After countless times of trying to not let the rabbit free Mickey, the Blot was basically, like, screw it, and let itself takeover the mouse's body to make the task easier.

Mickey was now freed from the trap, but collapsed on his knees, as if he was tired. A few seconds in, he felt a very painful sensation in his head. The ink that seeped off of him seemed to ooze faster than it usually did. The pain felt worse every second. Oswald's eyes widened when he noticed something. Due to the Blot going inside of him, Mickey's appearance started to shift from the mouse everybody loved to a dark, mysterious, and twisted version of himself. The rabbit ran to get Gus, due to being in panic. As he was making his way to find his friend, a voice told him to not run. It belonged to Mickey, but due to his transformed state, it sounded deeper and lost the cheery falsetto it was known for.

"Give me the heart, and I'll let you see her again."

Holding his brother's heart in his hand, he refused to listen to him. Aggravated at Oswald's choice, Mickey's eyes, now a glowing green, targeted the rabbit, as he was going to make an attack at him. Luckily, Oswald was able to dodge Mickey and get to Gus. Upon meeting the gremlin, they looked for a safe place to store the heart. While the two were looking for shelter, the Blot, controlling Mickey's body like a puppet, went across through Wasteland and its projectors to undo the restoration the mouse once did.

After the deed was finished, the Blot had a new goal to accomplish before getting the heart. Making sure Oswald and his friends would surrender. Meanwhile, being imprisoned in his own mind, Mickey yearns for the moment he could be reunited with his brother and heart.

So, basically, the AU is just Epic Oswald, I guess. Also, I might replay to game to put more thought and research into this.

And, I’m not planning on extending this AU onto a whole ass fanfiction as I’m only going to focus on art for most of the time, and some of its lore/worldbuilding.

OMG. I can't believe it.

Disney's giving us EMheads a show on Disney Plus, and it's an alternate version of the bad ending.

I even managed to grab a picture of it's poster before Disney took it down. Those damn idiots.

I'm very, very excited to watch it, regardless of them not even showing a date. If it was my guess, probably later this year to coincide with Epic Mickey's 15th anniversary.
