Submission 07/05/2019

I have submitted my work thank god I have managed to complete everything within the timescale. I faced many struggles and still stayed focused and was determined to finish all the pieces. I'm very proud of myself that I managed it all. I personally believe that I could have gone that one step more with my exhibition piece, but I think this is a big part of developing and learning that you want to do better. Apart from the struggles throughly enjoyed myself.

I have been to uni all day today. I am still working on my catalogue and got some printing down. Had a very productive day and got alot done. I also have done a photo shoot at home last night. To be continued with the images as they are in my camera I could not upload them.

Independent studies

I have been coming in to uni every day to complete my work for some reason iv not got enough hours. No stopping for me. I have managed to do alot of work but still got loads to do. I'm getting some printing done today and sorting my research folder.

Day out to Liverpool Tate

Great experience, love the lay out. They had clean white wall and then would change to different colours as the theme would change.

Cad workshop

Today I have come in to university to finish my layout on my cad workshop. I completed the digital version of the floor plan ready to be put in the provided presentation board format. Thank you to the Graduate Teaching Assistant for the Faculty of Arts, Rhyan is fabby !

Indipendent studies

I went to university today and with the help of Martin I have managed to finish my catalogue cover. I am so happy the fact that one of my artist I have chosen has in boxed me on Instagram with more information on her background.

Photography work shop

Today was my second photography workshop. First of all we had a health and safety talk. The theam was identity. I choose a Pakistani outfit and jewellery to convey the statement I was trying to make. The aim was to show how you can use make-up to cover a persons Inner feelings and display positivaty and hide once true feelings. A simple action of removing the outfit and makeup can have the reverse effect. It can also remove your identity within a culture. I also got to take some photos and helped to do some make-up. So far this was the best work shop I have done. The reason for this is because I really loved the whole aspect of being a photographer and what it intales.

Today I had a introduction to realism photography. We where shown a slide with different photographs work, one was Henri Cartier-Bresson. He was a French humanist photographer. We where told that our theam is on identity. We where given a brief if we could use different materials to create our photography piece. I'm thinking of doing it on my culture and thought.

IT Workshop

Today I have had my second workshop with Martin Evans. During the workshop we worked on our catalogue layout. We were shown example of a catalogue to give us an idea for starting my own catalogue. We were also shown how to format our work using InDesign software. This included how to format our work using layout, fontsizes and creating columns. I created my layout and will be adding images and text next session.

Illustration workshop

Today I worked on the image I have chosen to use for my work.I experimented with the original image by adding text and altering it in different ways to achieve the final look.
