EXCUSE U U PIECE OF DEER POO, IM NOT A CRYBBY!
could have fooled me. You’re crying to me right
now about me calling you out, aren’t you?
Wanders into baki's room. loudly and obnoxiously yawns to wake him up. The boy then takes his sleepy, lazy leave whilst snickering under his breath.
to wake an old man whilest napping should be a crime. beside him, nana doesn’t stir it doesn’t surprise him ; his wife slept like a log. grumbling, he let a sea of blankets fall from him sitting up in just enough time to see his grandson slip out the door, brat.
‘ come’ere boy ! i’ll show you what happens when you wake an old man ! ’

Uncle
“It weakened your defenses, left you open. Keep practicing with your father, he’s far more skilled at this game than I am, Shikadai.”
❝ Like I said, you pulled a risky one. Did you even think before moving that piece? You’re kind of good with Shogi to, you know. It’s just you have me questioning that certain piece...my old man told me Climbing Silver is like some sort ofKing. Ah, trying to understand is bothersome... ❞
❛ Geez...to think even you can beat me at Shogi, uncle Gaara. Tsk. I always hate risky moves with those unpredictable pieces. So many things can go wrong if you don’t plan things out accordingly. Why play the Climbing Silver, though? ❜

Hands stilled inside his dark green pants pockets before pulling one of them free. Slim brows creasing together as deep emerald pupilless eyes dangerously narrowed at the woman. That tone of voice it really upset him when he was being talked down to from some person he did not even know. A mom’s well-known tact for not respecting rank nor gender to which the comment had come from.
Shikadai’s motto: Respect was earned, not given. Sort of like trust and he disliked this bossy woman anyway. Index finger pointed at the stranger whilst facial features went from lackadaisical to irked; lips turning into a grimace, disapproval shining within his deep dagger-like eyes.
❛ Don’t talk down at me, lady. I don’t care who you are and I really don’t want to do some stupid introduction. Listen here and listen good, you’re putting stress on the Hokage and when someone puts stress like this on that old guy, they’re putting stress on my old man. He hasn’t really been himself for a few days and now I know it’s because of you so whatever you’re doing, stick it up yours and leave this place. No one here likes you. ❜

Connor Franta, “Note to Self” Trailer.
We’re one step closer to see how Gengo looks like in the anime!!
The Suna’s family hahhahah! same gene !!
I’ve misjudged you
What do u think about Boruto, Shikadai?
❛ Geez. Where do I even start? Why are you even asking me something like this? Hn..the guy’s cocky but he’s got a reason to be. He’s a prodigy, but nothing like me I guess. His pranks are stupid and his attention seeking is bothersome. I’m sure if Naruto wanted to pay attention to him, he’d take a day off but that’s not my business.
Boruto’s skills are amazing, he’s kind of broodingunless it’s with his sister then the whole village is in danger because of something stupid he did to her or her stuffed toy.
Back in my match with him at the chunin exams he cheated, but I kind of understand why. If I put myself in his shoes I’d want my old man’s attention to, but not for me. My old man’s the advisor and there are days where my mom will miss him and it shows. I don’t say anything because I don’t like seeing mom cry. One day Boruto will surprise all of us.
Our generation is stronger than the previous we all just have to use our heads and until the day comes I’ll make sure to help Boruto with his fights along the way. I’ll just be the guy in the shadows protecting both the future Hokage and a close friend. ❜
mysteriousshopkeeper:
Shelves? Dusty? Ah, perhaps a bit — mainly the ones in the back, which were seldom the target of browsing by anyone other than the occasional shinigami. Though — dust anywhere in the shop had to mean one of his assistants was shirking — well, far be it from him to do the cleaning, when he had three other people managing the minutiae. Jinta would not doubt be the target of his interrogation later that evening.
“Ah, time to rotate the stock, I suppose,” he chuckled breezily, not to be flustered by the insinuation. “But rest assured, all our food items are made fresh daily, and offered at reasonable prices!” He directed the boy’s attention to the deli counter and nearby refrigerator case. “Plenty of fresh snacks to be found here, as you can see! And I’m proud to report that this establishment has never failed a health inspection!” Though he omitted to add that most health inspectors tended to wander away, having signed the appropriate forms, with little memory of the encounter.
“Now, if you’re in the market for a Shogi board, look no futher!” he went on, full salesman mode now engaged. “Over here, we have a modest but diverse selection of games and toys for all ages!” He gestured to a corner, where such items did indeed line shelves, and a display model sat on a table flanked by two chairs. A cunning smile overtook his lips.
“You know,” he began slyly, “I play a bit myself. Would you like to join me in a game?”
¯\_(ツ)_/¯—— Ħousǝ ᵒᶠ 𝐍ɐɹɐ ——¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Standing there with one hand inside of his pocket and the other at his side. He shifted his weight to lean on his left, pivoting his right foot forward taking on a look of boredom. Forest tainted eyes missed not a beat, curiosity spiked but he never questioned it. The things in the very back were dusty, a lot. The boy had a feeling it wasn’t candy nor any other food of that matter but something much bigger than that. Lackadaisical glance returned back to the man with the beach hat, that slothful gaze like piercing daggers.
It was obvious to him there were more people who were here since the front of the shop was spick and span. Not a single fleck of dust. The Nara’s eyes narrowed, his mind began working and the color of his irises glazed, turning opaque for a few brief seconds. It was when the older man spoke did he come back to reality. Lips pursing out as slim brows furrowed before giving a shrug of his shoulders. Whatever was back there merely wasn’t his business but he also had to know who and what type of guy he was talking to let alone buying items from.
❛ Yeah, thanks but no thanks on the food. I got it covered on my way back home. ❜
The mentioning of a Shogi board caught his attention. His eyes seemed to spark, a fire beneath those pupilless emerald colored eyes. Shikadai did not hesitate to move forward to the Shogi board. He made a quick inspection of it; nice, clean, sleek as if it had been taken care of immensely. The tips of his fingers brushed the cool, scratched yet polished wood of the surface, and now did his lips pull back to show a row of full pearly white teeth. A mother’s smile tainted his facial features, soft.
{Yeah, Dad’ll like this one. I’ll have enough for it...I think. Or...}
Turning back to the shopkeeper his smile disappeared replaced by a serious yet still lazy look. With his back to the game piece and thumb pointed behind him did he confidently speak up, loud and clear. The tone of his voice made it obvious he wanted this to be fair and square. Shikadai knew the word sly, he heard it within the other’s tone. Negotiations were his thing and he was top-notch at making them.
❛ Alright old man. I win, you give me the Shogi board along with its pieces and you tell me just what you really do and who you really are along with what’s back there on those dirty shelves. It’s pretty obvious no ordinary shopkeepers keeps weird stuff like that around. ❜

common day sentence starters.
“ What time is it? Do you know? ”
“ Pardon me, did you drop this? ”
“ Could’ve been a beautiful day. Now the rain has ruined everything. ”
“ What are the chances, huh? What are the chances. ”
“ How are you doing today? ”
“ Did you need a ride? ”
“ Let’s go get a bite to eat. Come on, my treat. ”
“ Why the hell is it so damn hot outside? ”
“ Hello? Can you hear me? ”
“ Hey, miss/mister, do you possibly have directions to the nearest gas station? ”
“ Breakfast is and will always be the best part of every morning. ”
“ Last night was wild, wasn’t it? ”
“ Is there a problem? ”
“ No, I don’t wanna move. Too tired. Go without me. ”
“ I want to go to the beach. What do ya’ say? ”
“ DID YOU SERIOUSLY EAT ALL OF THE CHIPS? ”
“ If this traffic doesn’t clear up in the next ten seconds, I will literally scream out this window. ”

Even if facial features seemed lackadaisical and uncaring, forest colored eyes gazed at his uncle with worry. Dark brows creasing as he walked up to the opposite chair and took a seat. The Nara’s legs dangling in the air as he began swinging them back and forth. Those moss-stained eyes slid over from his uncle to the paperwork on his desk; a scowl then formed, chin resting within the palm of his hand and a brow quirked.
{ All this looks so bothersome...Do I really want to ask to help him out? He needs some serious sleep...I don’t really think it was such a wise idea bringing me to Suna. Uncle doesn’t need another kid to look after... }
The words that fell from the Kage’s lips had him blink out of his daze and look back towards him. Lips parting did the boy released a sigh before getting down off the chair, arms placed behind his head as he began to walk away. He was up now so there was no going back to sleep. Shogi sounded nice right about now.
❛ Yeah, yeah. She should be up anyway. Being a Kage looks bothersome, I don’t know how you do it, Uncle. I hope you get some sleep soon even if it’s a few hours. Ten minutes usually helps the brain out I hear. ❜
