i have so much empathy and compassion for a person i don’t know. i genuinely wish things would’ve been way different for him. the decision that he made yesterday just goes to show the kind of person he truly is. i believe he is a good person deep down. a good person who was suffering, a good person who felt like the system had failed him and destroyed his life, he’s not this monster like they tried to paint him, he was just a victim of the broken system. he is so brave and i truly applaud him for owning up and giving his statement. i really hope one day he’s able to have a second opportunity in life, the opportunity to rebuild his life, the opportunity to forgive himself, the opportunity to heal mentally, emotionally and physically. may all the kindness that he’s given in his life come back as freedom.

it’s absolutely devastating that there’s so many people out there with stories like this, who are living with pain that consumes their very being and takes their lives while they’re still physically here. luigi’s message is SO important and i hate that it’s being lost in his guilty plea by media outlets.

yesterday was so many things. so many different feelings and so many different thoughts.

but honestly, i’m choosing peace today. even if that means coming off as delusional. i truly don’t believe that things are over for luigi. i really do think that good things are still possible for him. and that he is at peace with what has happened and with that, i will find comfort!

this whole situation isn’t over yet, there is so much left to be said and sorted out. luigi STILL needs our support, our advocacy and so does this movement!

luigi doesn’t go away even when this whole thing does eventually move into something more permanent. luigi will always be an icon, and a revolutionary!!

Agreed. Yesterday was very emotional but I truly think this confession could be a mental turning point for him. If they actually manage to get him free in his 40s he has a lot of life and happiness in front of him ❤️

He will be an icon when he gets out at 46 too and this allows him to be 100% truthful to himself and the people around him about what actually happened.

bringing back this sweet video of him, because I know he is not the person they make him out on the news. today has been a lot for everyone, but I can't even begin to imagine how nervous he must have felt reading his statement & getting this of his chest.

I still have a lot to say & to gather my thoughts, but I feel so bad for him and will always feel that way. I KNOW, he is a good person. I just KNOW it. I started this blog because I really wanted other people to see that too, with the quotes said by his loved ones. One doesn't do something like this if they unfortunately hadn't given up on their life. He has so much potential. I know he will go on to do great things in the future. All of this feels horrible, I just wish him all the best and peace of mind most importantly.
