Hey, gals and ghouls, message from on high coming through:
This week, the Safehouse will be hosting a competition which takes place for the following week, where tenants are for a limited time exempt from any repercussions for their actions. The goal of the competition is simple:
The tenant to gather the most charms win.
“Charms” are enchanted objects, which can range anywhere from rings to pendants to coins to portraits. Each object is enchanted with different spells and imbued with powers to bolster the abilities of the bearer.
Wix have a natural head start in this event, as they retain an innate ability to sense the magical, however, this head start does not determine who will win. What matters are numbers, and the more charms you get, the better suited you will be in finding others.
Specific Charms hidden around the Safehouse include:
Charm of Wisdom
Charm of Foresight
Charm of Invulnerability
Charm of Quickness
Charm of Stealth
These charms are all meant to enhance the tenants chances of finding other charms. The larger variety of charms a tenant has, the better they will be at finding charms.
Tenants will be allowed to steal charms from each other, through whatever means they like. Violence will be allowed, without repercussion; however, any deaths will come with a $500 fine.
The reward for the tenant who finds the most charms will be one of three things, depending on ward level and whether or not they are resident managers:
First Ward tenants will receive a permanent 50% cut in their rent.
Second, Third, and Fourth Ward tenants will be bumped up to the next highest ward level, free of charge. They will not pay any more for rent than they already do.
Resident Managers will receive a 50% pay raise, as they must remain on the same ward level.
You’ve heard it from the horses mouth. It’s about to be a free for all around here. Those who don’t want to participate might want to keep their doors protected; who knows who might break in to steal charms you don’t have.
As a sidenote though: Doctors should probably keep an eye on the clinic. If I’ve learned anything, it’s the the promise of a better life will make people resort to some drastic things...
Stay safe, kiddies. And kick ass!
