Film Of The Week Best In Show (2000) 12 What do you think? Send in a review for a shoutout. #bestinshow #reviewforshoutout
Sinister (2012) 15 Sinister is an extremely scary horror, thriller, directed by Scott Derickson (know for some of his other works of the horror genre. The cast is good but some of the characters are completely unlikeable and at times boring, making the audience less sympathetic towards some people. The story is gritty, interesting and cleverly written so that any audience should feel afraid, and the lead (Ethan Hawke) keeps everything flooding nicely. Sinister is extremely scary and with an unexpected ending it is a totally enjoyable watch, but not an Oscar winner. 7.7/10 +Good Plot +Good Cast +Genuinely Scary -Some Bad Characters
The Road (2009) 15 The Road is a bleak, adventure, thriller that could actually be classified as a horror due to its post apocalyptic setting. It stars a great cast with both established and upcoming actors, and the cleverly written characters that are portrayed help to gain an emotional resonance between the audience and the people in the film. The story is gripping and has the ability to bring any audience to tears with its sad moments and upsetting scenes. Many scenes are extremely graphic and are pulled off by great special effects. But, there many details that are left unanswered or unexplained. 8.3/10 +Great Cast +Good Special Effects +Great Characters +Cleverly Written -Too Many Unexplained Points
Scouts Guide To The Zombie Apocalypse (2015) 15 Scouts guide to a zombie apocalypse is a fun, horror, comedy, which is (as the title says) based around a zombie apocalypse. It is not necessarily a serious zombie film, but it does contain many of the gory and violent aspects. The acting is good, featuring a few upcoming movie stars and some already established ones; overall they portray the funny characters in a near perfect way. There are no scares but many laughs, which may put some audiences off, but the good script keeps everything going and everyone engaged. Through the greatness there are a few problems with unexplained details, therefore the audience is left guessing. 6.9/10 +Good Script +Funny +Good Cast -Unexplained Details -Not Scary
The Conjuring (2013) 15 The conjuring is a clever horror, drama, that will keep nearly every audience on the edge of their seats. It contains a good cast who manage to pull off the characters they portray perfectly, but if you gain an emotional resonance, that's another question. The story is clever and immediately throws the audience into the horror I Universe, and makes everything seem so familiar. Throughout the film, the audience is scared by many jumpy and suspenseful moments, and not only from one character/gohst/entity. Sadly, there are some more boring moments, and details which were unnecessary and seem like a bit of an overkill. Good special effects are overused to the extent that it seems a little bit cheesy. It is definitely a worth while watch, and a great addition to the horror genre. 7.9/10 +Good Cast +Cleverly Written +Genuinely Scary +Familiarity -Overused Special Effects -Some Boring Moments -Unnecessary Details

Battle Of The Week Cameron Vs Spielberg Who would win? Comment Down Below! #jamescameron #stevenspielberg
The Judge (2014) The judge, is a crime drama starring the critically acclaimed Robert Downey Jr.. It contains a good cast accompanied by well thought out characters, though some were unnecessary and boring. The story is interesting and is set up to create emotion, and has the potential to make some audiences even cry! Some details in the story did not have the explanation they deserved and some scenes in the movie were unnecessary and extremely hard to watch. 7.0/10 +Good Cast +Interesting Story +Creates Emotion -Some Annoying Characters -Some Unnecessary Scenes
Batman Vs Superman: Dawn Of Justice (2016) Dawn Of Justice, directed by Zack Snyder (Man Of Steel, 300, etc.) is one of the first phases of the DC cinematic universe. A strong cast fits nicely alongside with great characters, which keep the plot moving and the audience engaged. Most of the wanted and needed information about the characters and plot are expressed through a (at times) mediocre script. Though said script was mediocre, it did its job and helped Man Of Steel to keep the Cinematic universe alive. It contained many seems of violence and special effects, but the poor editing does make it a little bit hard to watch (only at times). This is a film witch won't appeal to all due to its dark and comic book like style, but if you're a hardcore superhero fan, you'll most likely like it. 8.6/10 +Good Cast +Alright Script +Sets Up The Universe +Special Effects -Mediocre Script -Some Poor Editing -Dark Style Won't Appeal To All
Let Me In (2010) 15 Let Me In is the remake of the original horror film Let The Right One In. It has a fairly good cast, most of which are children, that helps to keep the audiences engaged. Though it is slow moving it has a good plot with some interesting events, and other boring ones. The characters are (for the most part) good, but some are underused and their backstories untold. There are some graphic scenes with lots of blood therefore it isn't really appropriate for children. 7.0/10 +Good Characters +Good Cast +Good Plot -Slow Moving -Untold Backstories -Some Boring Events
Risen (2016) 12A Starring Joseph Fiennes, Risen is an Action Drama which documents the rising of Jesus. It stars off which an engaging story and some graphic scenes, yet slows down half way through the film. It has a mediocre cast and boring characters which fails to keep the audience engaged and on the edge of their seats. The plot is interesting but is stretched out and it is difficult to tell if this is a serious film or a comedy. There are some good special effects, but it's clear that they spent it all in the beginning of the filming. 6.1/10 +Intense Beginning +Engaging Beginning -Mediocre Cast -Stretched Out Plot -Boring Characters
