my dumb friendship idea: phillippe and morton

it feels like they're both on the spectrum. phillippe speaks bluntly, is easily irritated by others, and feels forced to mask so he's not killed. morton is... well, morton

maybe in this au morton thinks he's still a moth and wanted to regrow him? phillippe is bored. more so pissed off that it has to be around... him. despite that, the more words that comes out of the cricket's mouth, the more he's... interested? and besides, there's nowhere else to go.

i dunno, there's at least something here to be had.

ohhh i really like these two as a pair thank you for sending this .. guy who exists for treachery + concealment made to interact w a guy so authentically Himself that it feels impossible even as phillippe watches morton in action. a life he could never live yet close enough to touch. if that makes sense
