when a 2D character wears a big puffy jacket or baggy sweater and is mostly seen from the waist up my brain just starts registering them as being chubby (cope, i know)... and after only seeing UMP9's MOD3 art for so long that happened to me with her

i wonder if i could convince arknights people to get into or get back into GFL by with the information that the current head of the GFL writing team shared in an interview that she can't stop writing homoerotic confrontations in bathrooms because bathrooms are "cramped environment" where "two people are forced to face each other" and that's apparently why half of the GFL story events since 2021 have had some sort of scene like this

me ultimately leaning more towards M4/M16 than M4/star is kinda funny cuz my first time reading through GFL i actually was rooting hard for star-chan pretty much until polarized light/chapter 13 but then the M4/M16 stuff in chapter 13 was SO insane and My Favorite Type Of Mid-2000s Fantasy/SF Yuri Anime that i was like "damn, can't argue with that 🫡"

though these days the side of that triangle i think about the most is M16/star... cuz it's not like either of them are gonna be fucking M4 anytime soon w
