. Quick lore: Naomi is a girl that is at college and accidentally got into the hidden city. She works for a group of bandits but she doesn't know they are criminals, she just helps them to understand the hidden city better. She met Leo first, because he was escaping from a group of villains and he thought that she was lost and didn't know anything about the yokai. They get along and she meets with the turtles, BUT! Mikey suddenly falls in love with her (and she's clueless about it)

Started drawing these based on that one quote in The Fast and the Furriest where Mikey goes: "Sorry April! Movie night later?" and she responds "Your treat, mmmmmwah!". I love these two your honor (if you couldn't tell by my profile picture). I think Aprils bouncy personality and Mikey's bouncy personality work well together. They're two bouncy balls 🙂↕️

Hey Adri, out of curiosity. You're currently working on your last EW full animation, and that made me remember that a year ago you posted on your YouTube a "Voice acting contest" for an Eddsworld short you were working on at the time. I guess bc people sadly didn't participate on it, you cancelled the project. Which, is a shame because I wanted to see it so bad :(
Since the project is cancelled, are there any chances to know what the short was going to be about? I really wanna know about it

And yeah, it was partly that (I had like a 100 subs lol), but also I’m lazy as heck and I got bored lol.
It was basically like a sleepover parody? You know, the basic plot for a sleepover episode of any sitcom or cartoon, but like, aware of the stupidity of the plot. It also had like a ghost hunters bit? One thing I’ve come to notice about the Goulden era Eddsworld episodes (and Legacy and Beyond to some extent) is that most of them are based off a reused plot or a straight up parody of a movie (especially 80-90’s movies). For example, Ruined with Indiana Jones, Zombeh attack with Final Destination and just overall Zombie movies, WTFuture with Back To The Future and Terminator, PowerEdd with superhero movies, Surf & Turf with beach movies and I could go on but this would be really long. The point is, I wanted to do the same thing but with GhostHunters and the Sleepover plot.
I did finish writing the script and even animated some part of the episode, but I got carried away with other stuff and forgot about it BAHAHAH
To some extent it was probably better this way, my life’s a mess and was a mess back then, and I wanted to focus on growing my channel before doing any big project (besides I was 13 and I probably shouldn’t have been interacting with ppl online). The thing about the script is that it’s bad written, the main attractive of the episode was that its humor was mostly built on visual gags and stuff, so the script has like two jokes and such.
I have a bunch of ideas and scripts that I might rewrite into one shots for wattpad or ao3. I’ll share the script for the episode under the cut (warning: it’s BAD… like…. REALLY REALLY BAD….) and you judge if I made a good decision forgetting about it xdxd. Also, maybe later I’ll share the animatic, I dunno. I also have a WTFuture fanfic that’s 30 parts long and it’s actually good but idk if I should post it or just make it a web comic (or pull a Project Tord idk)
The short would start with a shot of them at a bedroom (Matt's ig since it's the biggest)
Matt- Finally, something to distract ourselves from all the work!
Tom- We never do anything at all? We don't even work.
Edd- Don't go breaking the 4th wall within the first minute of the episode. Let's just focus on the PAJAMA PARTY!!
Tom- I still think this is stupid. We literally live together, this is nothing new.
Edd- YOU'RE STUPID.

Matt-Okay, so, we ordered the food, right?
Edd-Yep. Well, now what do we do?
Tom- Videogames?
Edd and Matt- Videogames.

Edd-This is boring.
Tom- I told you so.

Oh my goodness, I just saw this rn (stupid Tumblr, doesn't give me notifications lately) I liked your idea, it is a cool concept, but... Yeah, I read it and things felt kinda rushed...
But don't get me wrong, when I first entered the fandom it would definitely have been as bad as yours (I'm still kinda bad with writing, so I can't be too judgemental lol)
Literally with the first lines I was like "Oh... Well that's how this is going" But other the that, again, the concept was really good! I would have loved to see it as a full thing, but with a better worked script 😅 (Did my brain just decided to compare it with the FREAKING EW FAN MOVIE?! NO, IT WASN'T THAT BAD, I SWEAR!)
But since you mentioned that you could work on a fan fic (like one shots) I will definitely love to read it! Mostly since you mentioned that your writing skills got better 😼
And to finish giving you my opinion, sure! You can share the animatic if you are comfortable with it.
(You might know that I'm currently working on a comic too, and believe me, I'm so grateful I haven't shared it yet, there are a lot of plot things I kinda need to work on, the first concept is totally NOT like what I'm working on rn)
