St Teresa of Avila, pierced by the golden arrow, study for an engraving; framed by scrolling foliage, cherubs and two further scenes above Brush drawing in grey wash, heightened with white, on blue-grey paper. The drawing was given as anonymous Flemish 17/18th century. It was transferred to Baumgartner in August 1969 by John Rowlands.
