Can you please give use some AU lore

You have no clue how long ive been awaiting this ask skdbsldgs

But uhh yeah this is gonna be a bit long so (some) au lore down below:

So just to preface I have NOT established that much in Desecrated Chaos, and a lot of it is still up in the air, but i can give you what I have so far

The base of the plot is VERY roughly based on sonic forces (because are you really a sonic fan if you havent tried to rewrite forces) but takes place after SA2, specifically the hero story ending where sonic takes out the canon and shadow hasnt had his maria epiphany yet. Eggman basically goes haywire and gets shadow to help him create deadly chaos-based weaponry, which he ambushes sonic and co. with. It goes really bad and sonic gets badly wounded when trying to help tails (who got blown up, RIP 😔), though most of his friends escape to angel island (ill get back to this). When sonic is on the brink of death shadow rejuvinates him by breaking a chaos emerald and having him absorb it which also gives sonic some extra abilities. After this point eggman takes over and creates huge cities that span across the entire world with very small resistances present within them (some set up by sonic and a few friends).

After this point its kinda blurry as to what i want to do, but i know that sonic and a bunch of the resistance people manage to break out of the cities and regroup at angel island for a while. Angel island in this au is part of a large floating island chain and was never found by eggman so the islands are basically a safe haven for the resistance. At this point sonic meets his friends who escaped initially and they team up and beat up eggman after multiple trials and also theres sonadow because why not. This would take place over at least like a year or a few because the world isnt still in ruin like it was in forces, with the cities and defenses being well established.

Theres more worldbuilding i wanna do but unfortunately nothings really written because i dont have the time or writing confidence 😔. Ideally i want to make more art but im already balancing an existing art job and college so times a bit tight. When i can though ill make actual lore-important drawings and answer asks! Its nice to know some people are curious about my wierd crack AU lol
