But the actual wedding went surprisingly smoothly, if you ignore the fact that no one but Eric and his mother were particularly happy about it, and I think his mother was just happy about it being a wedding, not about who were getting married.

W-well it went smoothly for everyone else, I was having a bad time but that was mostly unrelated to the um- actual happenings. It was honestly a bit spooky, it was all too manicured and impersonal. Like it was supposed to be some display of power or-or success or something, and not a celebration. Lord I really fucking hated Mary....

The quirk you have for Shelley is so cool! Is there a specific pattern to the coloring, aside from names and associations?

I kind of just vibe it out, if I'm being honest. i just want it to seem sorta random but not... like.. truly random. my only real methodology is for the frequency, any time she thinks too hard about being regurgitated from the spiral, or anything too spiral related, or gets particularly upset, the amount of color changes go up.

legitimately half the time i spend writing her posts is me deliberating on where a color change feels good, and if a certain two changes near each other feels off. i think way too hard about it

Mum-? Oh! Oh. M-Mary... if I'm being honest, that's very satisfying to hear. I've met her before, and it was fucking awful. I know she didn't like me either, though. It all was mutual. I-I was one of Eric's groomsmen and admittedly it was... t-tense at the wedding, I'm sure he noticed but h-he didn't say anything. He tended to do that when Mary was involved, not say anything.
