The skies were dim, death. Death is what fills the air. The ground paved with his fallen brothers && their enemy’s blood && corpses. Erdhardt, the fortunate knight was the only one that had remained standing, though he was battered && exhausted. His sword’s edge, dripped with the enemy’s blood. It would seem that the Samurai faction’s onslaught had finally come to an end.
Everywhere he looked, there was nothing but death. A saddening sight to anyone really. If they didn’t feel any sadness, then they were nothing but coldhearted monsters. This war.. the war that the Ashfeld knights had been fighting for centuries.
The surviving knight asked to himself.
Picking himself up back to his feet, he stood there. Taking a final glance at his fallen brothers. They may have died, but their honor will always remain. Exhausted, the young knight picked up his trail. Walking away from the carnage to which he had fought in. How many more of his brothers && young knights had to die in this god forsaken war. That, he may never find out. Now that he thinks about it, the battle was too fierce that they hadn’t realized that the battle was taken to the hills of the Myre, the Samurai’s very lands.
If he doesn’t get out of there soon, then they will have his head quickly than he could imagine. Hours passed && soon he reaches a vantage. He was almost out of this part of the region. However.. Someone seemed to be in his way. They weren’t warriors, no. Though he was for certain that they belonged within this region. Orders were to kill anyone who was from the Myre.
But as for Erdhardt. Killing an innocent was not part of what he was thought in his days of being a pup. It was not the knight’s way. Instead, he stood there, longsword in his hands && tried to speak up.
“ I only wish to pass by. So if you would.. ”
He assumed that they would understand his choice of language. Knowing the Samurai, they had their own mother tongue. Hopefully, they would let him pass without question. HOPEFULLY.

war , fighting , death -- they all took it so seriously.
the life of a mortal was so fragile, barely holding onto any means of stable, secure living. ( foolish. ) what a pointless yet amusing plight, nothing unusual for humans, dare she ever say. war was but part of cycle, the natural order. peace comes naught without war, war gains peace, war destroys peace. war is infinite. war is absolute.
with war, comes death.
neither are unavoidable.
what a pity, had she any pity to spare for these trivial matters.
ah , a survivor. was that a blessing or a curse? one could not tell, all depends how one handles such a scene, really. ( not that she cared. ) injured, no doubt too. hm, what a situation he was in. such injuries require immediate aid, if she recalled correctly with human limitations regarding damage to the body.
