“You said” – he began quietly. – “You said no one would ever love you… but here I am,” Josuke laughed nervously, pointing at himself. “Standing right in front of you.”
“I don’t get it…” Okuyasu stared at him, processing the information in his head.
“Are you playing dumb on purpose, or are you really that slow, Okuyasu?”–Blood rushed to Josuke’s cheeks. If he had to repeat himself, he’d die.
But it looked like he wouldn’t have to. Okuyasu stepped closer, close enough to reach out and touch Josuke.
“I don’t know.”
Another heavy silence.
“Can I kiss you?”
Josuke’s eyes widened in surprise, and, feeling embarrassed, he took a step forward.
“You can…”
Okuyasu moved closer; Josuke could feel his breath on his face, and without a moment’s hesitation, he gave Josuke a peck on the corner of his lips. He quickly pulled away, covering his face with his fist.
Josuke had expected something a little different, given what had happened in the office, but such a modest gesture only made the boy’s emotions run even higher.
“God, I think I really do love you, Okuyasu.”
A little comic based on a fanfic I read recently. I don’t draw comics very often, so it feels a little awkward to share this.But it feels even more awkward to share a translation of an excerpt from that fanfic, since I’ve never done this before in my life. I hope I didn’t make any mistakes… Or at least not too many…
