Do you still have the Little Tail Story app downloaded? I've been trying to find an APK of it since I can't find it anywhere and think it'd be a good thing to preserve.

I'll have to check my old phone but I'm pretty sure I do. I'll look into it.

So there's a Tail Concerto fan animation that is very well animated called "Waffle!" Have you seen it? It has some jiggling breasts from Alicia but is SFW.

Solatorobo Fan Book Complete Collection

Happy new year everyone!

Let’s start the new year with this, the Solatorobo Fan Book Complete Collection book.

This book is basically an omnibus featuring all of the 8 Solatorobo Fan Books.

Because of this, the book is quick thick and personally, I prefer the separate books to this one.

It’s also a lot smaller than the separate books, which combined with the high page count isn’t really helping.

It’s been quite a long time since I’ve made a Solatorobo trivia post and I’ve been kind of in the mood lately…

I’ve always been fascinated by logo design, especially when it comes to unused concepts, and Daybreak, volume 2 of the Little Tail Bronx Archives, gives us a look at Solatorobo’s initial designs and titles.

Most who were in the fandom in the game’s initial announcement stages are aware of the codename of Project CODA and that the original title was originally Solarobo, with the “to” added shortly before the game’s release.

However, in early stages, it seems the game’s title was at some point planned to be ランブロボ - それからCODAへ - or Rumble Robo: And Then, to CODA in English.  Interesting that the “And Then, to CODA” subtitle was part of the name since its earliest stages, although one of the logos drops the subtitle in favor of a plain English  “Rumble!  Robot Action” and another that has both.  The fact that And Then, to CODA had been considered to be the game’s main title at one point is also quite intriguing.  I was always disappointed the CODA subtitle was dropped in the English release altogether for “Red the Hunter” instead!

Interestingly enough, searching for any traces of  ランブロボ or Rumble Robo on the internet yield absolutely no relevant results.  Solatorobo was revealed in 2010 with the Project CODA title so it can be assumed that Rumble Robo predates it.  It’s also quite possible that this was the intended title of the fifth prototype from 2007 (Seen in Starlet, LTB volume 3) which had a more direct connection with Tail Concerto.  But that’s another post for another time.

Either way I’m very happy they decided to change the title to Solarobo, and eventually Solatorobo.  Rumble Robo is a bit too generic for a game as unique as this.

Tail Concerto Demo CD

Time for a slight Tail Concerto break between the Solatorobo items.

Whenever I think I might be more or less done with Tail Concerto, something new always pops up.

I’m ashamed to admit it, but I didn’t know this existed until a kindhearted user here linked me to a sales listing of this.

So here it is, the US Tail Concerto Demo CD. 

If everything goes well, I should have one more Tail Concerto item for you later on.

Solatorobo Mugs

More of the earlier CC2 Store Solatorobo merchandise, these plastic mugs.

The green Mamesuke design was one of the first items I purchased from the CC2 Store.

I remember originally wanting the Waka design more, but when I placed my order it had already sold out.

In retrospect, I’m rather glad I got the Mamesuke design when I did since out of the two, that one seems to have become the rarer one.

These mugs are, as mentioned earlier, made out of plastic with the print being printed on a paper sheet.

The print is removable by turning the lid until it comes off.
