Well, here's the rest of the fusions. Was kind of losing interest in the end and ended up not super satisfied with some of the designs but I wanted to just get the rest of them done instead of quitting and ending up finishing them over a year later like I did after I drew the Twilight Fusions.

So here they are. There's fusions for Twilight, Starlight, Sunset, Rarity, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, and Pinkie Pie. I think I'm done with fusions for a while

I don't know why I was unable to upload the one big image of the 5 sets. I had to split it. It kept saying there was an error everytime I tried to upload it. I tried making a completely different file and exporting it as a png again on my computer and then uploading it but the same thing happened. I don't think it was the file size. I have uploaded bigger images before. idk what was going on.

Tumblr is one of the most frustrating sites to try to upload images on, I don't have any trouble on Reddit, Twitter, or Deviantart. Only this site causes me trouble. I can only add one image at a time, if I even try to add two at a time the second one will fail

A Saga of Ponies

Not super happy with the name Moon Veil, I wanted to give them all names that referenced certain books but I didn't want to use just the actual book titles as their names. I spent forever trying to come up with a name for her though. There's not really any other names I could think of that mean New Moon. I thought about just giving up and using that as her name but I don't think New makes a great first name for a pony.

A few I sort of considered were Shadow Moon, Shrouded Moon, Dark Moon. I didn't really like any of those either. I ended up just going with Moon Veil. I guess because a New Moon is hard to see so it's "veiled in darkness"

Her cutie mark isn't really accurate to what a new moon is since I added a little bit of light around the edges. It just looked a bit too plain without that though.

I had a lot of fun with their hair. I tried to make it look like what they are named after.

Twilight is just there to complete the set.

what do you use to draw/how do you nail the official style so well? all your work is amazing and inspires me

Thanks, I use paint tool sai and a Wacom Cintiq 12wx that I've been using for like 10+ years at this point. There's probably way better programs and tablets to use now but I'm old and used to these at this point.

As for nailing the show style....I traced lol, sorry. I kinda just traced some screenshots of ponies in a few different poses. I wouldn't be able to get it perfect if I didn't. For when I just want to design ponies I just do that.

I make a bunch of linearts and just use those as a base. I draw the hair and cutie marks and eyes, ect on different layers.

Actually I have no idea what I'm doing and it's really annoying having to save everything as a psd file first and then upload it to gimp and then export it as a png because if I just export it as a png from sai it will have a white background and not a transparent background. Also I think there are hundreds of other people who nail the show style way better because they are able to make these high quality crispy vector images that I don't think I would ever be able to replicate in a million years despite drawing ponies for over 1/3 rd of my life now . I feel so old and I feel like technology is moving so fast that I could probably buy another drawing tablet and then blink and there would already be dozens of new ones that are better quality than the one I'm using so why even bother trying to buy a new one. There's so many options too and there's so many drawing programs and if I wanted to upgrade what I'm using (which I kind of do) I wouldn't even know where to begin. Time seems to go faster every day that I wake up. The older I get the faster it goes. Every day I wake up and find new wrinkles on my face. And I realize that I've spent most of my life just alone in my house at this point. Will I only have ponies left in my wake at the end?

I'm trying to redesign an old oc.

She is basically a villain that uses some kind of memory spell to make it seem like she was part of the mane ground the whole time. Sort of a Wallflower Blush situation but instead of making everyone forget someone she changes memories to make everyone think she was there all along. I'm still working out her personality and everything. I asked for some help on Reddit and I got some really good suggestions.

I changed her cutie mark to a forget-me-not flower because some people suggested it and I like it a lot more. And I like that the middle of the flowers have kind of a star like design. So that can be sort of a subtle hint of magical ability too.

Someone on Reddit said "Her cutie-mark reflects her desire to leave a mark on the world because of her feelings of inadequacy. It represents the moment she created a spell based on a heart's desire, an innocent one. That could have been used for good and left the mark she wanted to leave on the world, but instead it consumed her and isolated her. She does not want to be forgotten."

And I really really like that and make that part of her character. I think I want her reasons to also be a bit more selfish though so she has more to learn and more character development to go through.

She is an envious pony and that was her motivation behind casting the spell. She wants to be important and wants all of Equestria to remember her. Twilight and her friends seem like some of the most important ponies in Equestria and she wants to be one of them and one of the Elements of Harmony. I'm still trying to work out what her fake element could be. If there was a hypothetical 7th element what would it be? I'm still trying to figure out a better name for her. I originally had her name as Razzle Dazzle and I kind of don't like that.

While I have sort of her motivations for doing what she did, and have the villainous part of her personality better figured out. I am still trying to figure out what her fake personality is. The personality she plays out after the spell is cast. What role does she fill with the mane 6/7. What type of personality theme would go good with them.

I want her to be redeemed eventually and what I want her to do after that is be a writer, painter, or sculptor. Based on something someone suggested. I want her do have some type of hobby that can be used as a way of preserving memories. And with the mane 6 there isn't anypony that has arts like those as their hobby or talent, so I think it would fit.

With the designs I am trying to design her as if she was another member of the mane cast. These are the first group of concepts I've done and a lot of these I ended up really not liking. I'm just trying out a lot of different designs right now. It's really hard to try and design something as perfect as the mane 6. With the mane 6 you can basically look at any of them even if you haven't watched to show and still get an idea of what their personality is based on their design. I don't think I've achieved that here with any of these and I don't think I ever will. I will probably keep designing more and it will probably be a while before I really settle on one I like.

But for now I want some help figuring out which of these designs so far looks like it would best fit with the mane 6

Twilight Sparkle and Starlight Glimmer face off against a bunch of Villain Twilights from Alternate Universes.

For this the show universe is the main one, the prime dimension that all others originate from. From the beginning of time every choice would result in a new dimension being made, so there are basically an infinite number of alternate universe dimensions. The middle one is an evil Twilight that stole the magic from Celestia, Luna, and Cadence and found a way to travel between dimensions. She started gathering together other evil Twilight Sparkles or Twilight counterparts. She wants to attack the prime universe and become the main Twilight and rule over everything. She gathers together a lot more evil Twilights than shown here. Twilight and her friends must travel to other dimensions and gather together good versions of themselves to battle the evil Twilights.

The last one is an Alternate Universe version of another AU Twilight that I made, I made a synonym verse and Twilight’s counterpart was Sundown Twinkle, this is a Villain version of her

The second one is an evil scientist Twilight along with her Frankenstein like creation, he is also an OC of mine so this is an AU version of him too

second to last is a corrupted version of Dusk Shine (male twilight) so he is also an AU of an AU

the other ones are just other various villain Twilights

Looking back on this years later, I think I cooked with this. I think the middle design goes hard. I actually love that one. Second favorite has got to be the Twilight with the glowing white horn and eyes. I don’t remember what my thought process was with her but I replaced the white color of the 5 stars in her cutie mark with the colors of her friends so maybe she stole the magic from them or the elements of harmony, or maybe they all died and she absorbed the elements power to take revenge on the villain that caused it and became corrupted in the process. Idk, but I really like her.
