since nobody i know has read the book , here’s some quick facts about kerri :
she got into biology because she was terrified of it . she was scared of bugs , of some parts of wilderness, and she knows the best way to overcome fear is learning about it. she fell in love with biology in the process & now she’s studying ( or trying to ) in the hopes of becoming a biologist.
she was bullied in school, particularly by a man called joey krantz. she wasn’t conventionally beautiful & she wore large glasses , generally put off as “ nerdy “ .

she often shows more fear than the rest of the group , but when it comes down to it, she always puts it behind her. nate was the one who left , not her. she is brave.
wears cute suede boots while mystery solving.
in love with andy ! a girl who is part of the gang. she denies this, since andy left her after their last case.
known as the ‘ brains ‘ of the group.
this causes the gang to often look to her to fix their problems . when they thought she was broken after she had a horrific experience, they didn’t know what to do. it’s canon al told andy to fix her, because they didn’t know what they’d do without her, and they had enough going wrong then. this puts a lot of pressure on kerri, but she always tries not to disappoint.
