Need some help; your hair. When you draw hair, you always manage to keep it looking the same (not the EXACT same but generally speaking) - whenever I draw hair, it always ends up looking different. How do you do it???
Gosh, that’s a compliment! I try really hard to stay the same-ish, but don’t stress out over it typically. I draw a lot. A LOT. And that helps immensely.
But my hair hasn’t always been the same. Nor has my style.
You can see me experimenting over the years until I settled more on something I liked, and then refined it. So my hair hasn’t always been the same, it’s evolved. I think because I draw the same characters with the same hair over and over and over again, I’ve just gotten really really good at it! So it’s easier for me to hit the same ‘markers’. If you draw your character every day for five years straight, you’ll be able to draw them with your eyes closed, nearly!
