My nickname is Kitty (my real name is not Katherine or any of the sort in case you were wondering). I'm on semi permanent sick leave because of my mental health issues for now. Most days I prefer staying at home and most of my communication with the outside world happens through my laptop; (who I named Tasha, btw). The best advice I was ever given by a mental health professional (despite under less nice circumstances) is that for now I am going to focus on doing what I like... and well, that's what I'm trying to do. Life (more like the people in it) haven't been the kindest to me; but these days I try to laugh my way through life. "Beautifully Broken" basically means that I am trying to accept I'll never be whole (diagnosed with major PTSD etc.). And go on from this as my starting point rather than take on delusions I can be cured; but I can learn to navigate with this. F*ck bullies. F*ck abusers. F*ck predators. F*ck unfit parents. F*ck anyone who allows child abuse to continue. Don't turn a blind eye. Help the child. You might be the only one who does!
