Well, hey, at least he’s looking for alternatives. But if he just flat out didn’t like the fact you couldn’t have kids of your own, then maybe he would have a reason to be scared, for real. Okay, good. Can’t wait to meet him.

Yeah, I can understand that. I don’t know, I just wouldve liked him to. But it’s okay, because you really love him and I hope he loves you just as much.

I’m not mad, just a little bit upset that I didn’t know sooner. But it’s okay! At least I know now, right? Why would he be scares of me? I’m 5'8 and harmless….mostly. [ shrugs ] It’s just courtesy; it doesn’t matter if he was your childhood best friend, he still should’ve asked. But whatever.

I’m sorry I didn’t tell you sooner... will you forgive me? [pouts] Maybe because hes scared of you? I don’t know.. I mean... He was a hufflepuff like us, do you really need for him to do that?

[squeals and hugs him] Yay! Thank you! I wouldn’t want anyone but you to walk me down the aisl and give me away to Sammie! Which, by the way! [takes out a ring] He proposed! And it was his others! Isn’t it beautiful, Eoghan!

Yeah it’s great. As long as she and Rose are safe my two favorite ladies are safe so I’m glad. You’re on of my faves of course too though, don’t worry. [laughs and rolls his eyes] Yeah well you better be around for a while. Everyone’s acting like Posie and I need to get married, just because everyone else is… it’s not like the norm. But you’ll be alive. I’d marry her in a day if it meant you being there. [smiles]
Well, the doctor predicts I’ll have at least ten years, so as long as its between now and ten years from now, I think we’ll be okay. [shrugs] I guess it’s because the war ended, People have the sense that life is too short...so make the best of it while we have it... I mean, I understand why you two would want to wait a little while... unlike many others, you two don’t have a baby together, or are going to have a baby together... Rose might also go back to school once it reopens, it wouldn’t surprise me if she did. But I understand the way. On average most couples wait three to four years before even getting engaged. Then two to three years after that they’re married. So I understand.

Yeah it’s been great! I’ve missed her loads, but she’s alright now, of course.Back home where she needs to be. [shakes his head] Hey don’t talk like that. Focus on the now, the good stuff. Like you’re getting married! [grins] Good, because I’d totally crash it anyway.
That’s great, I’m happy for you two! I can tell you’re really happy, and I’m glad, you deserve to be happy, Adam. [smiles a little] It’s alright... I’ve come to terms with it, [laughs] Yes, yes, I know...I’m excited... Sammie and I haven’t finalized the date yet but it will be soon, I’m sure. I do, however, hope that I’ll be alive to see the day you get married, even if I am on my death bed, I’ll make sure I’m there. It is only fair for me to see you get married, you’re seeing me get married as well.
Well as long as it’s working I suppose I don’t mind catching ya when you fall. Well it has. My best mate’s getting married and I’ve got my sister back. [smiles and hugs her] Oh that’s so great Aoife! You deserve the best! I better be on the invite list or I’ll be forced to crash another wedding. That’s always fun.
Oh! I’m so glad about you getting your sister back! I’m sure you two are really happy now! [smiles and hugs back] Thank you, it came as a shock honestly but... but I’m happy and I need to be because who knows when I’m not here anymore. [laughs] Of course youre invited! You’re family, Adam.

...True, I have to say, but lately it’s gotten worse, I suppose it’s the medicine the doctors have me on. Its messing with my balance, I think. Oh I’m glad to hear that! So happy, it seems that life after the war has been good to you, I’m guessing. Oh I’ve... I’ve been alright, some days a better than others... But Sammie proposed a few months ago! We’ve been planning the wedding! Seems like everyone is getting engaged.
I’m serious. I don’t like being touched.

“Hallo, Aoife,” he said with a gasp as the tiny girl knocked the wind out of him. He hugged her back and lifted her up to kiss her. It felt weird to finally be able to kiss her, but good. It gave him that feeling that a kid gets when the term ends and they get to go home for the summer. Sammie put her down and readjusted his dinner jacket. “Let’s go?”  he asked and offered her his arm. “Are you up to apparation? Or should I call a cab?” By cab, of course, he meant the Knight Bus. There wasn’t a wizarding cab line that he knew of. He made a mental note to look into that one day.
“I got reservations at this fancy French restaurant– I don’t fully remember the name, though, and I don’t want to butcher it by trying to remember. But I think you’ll like it.” He flashed her a toothy grin. “I heard they’ve got gobsmacking crêpes.” As he told her this, he subtly patted his pocket. The ring was still there. He could hardly wait to give it to her.
Aoife sighed happily as she kissed him back. She, herself, was never one for public displays of romantic affection despite her being a very touchy-feely person with those she cares about, but she had to admit she loved being able to kiss Sammie. Aoife laughed softly and nodded as she linked her arm with his. “Apparation is okay, Sammie, don’t worry.” She told him softly. “No need for a cab needed Sammie.” She assured him.
“Oh Sammie, you don’t have to spend so much on me..” She told him gently, though inside she appreciated the thought and the romance Sammie was doing. “Oh, I love crepes! They are one of my favorites. I have yet to master making them though, the pancake is very tricky.” She told him with a nod of her head. Smiling, Aoife let her head fall on his shoulder. “Thank you again, Sammie...for wanting to take me out.”
“Well, it was the only way. Chrissy tried to do it without her biting me but…we were running out of time and nothing was working so…” he shrugged. “Forever eighteen and I have to say not a bad age to be forever at.”
“I know... I do wish there was another way, but I know there isnt.” Smile sadly and hugs him again. “Yeah...forever eighteen... Haha, when I’m older and having kids... people will think you’re my son..isn’t that kind of weird?”
