Eoghan! Eoghan! Guess what! You’ll never believe it, but try and guess!
Uhhh....I really don't know! Uhhhhh...yeah I really don't know.
“I do.” [Eggo]

What nerves Harmony had were gone instantly when Eoghan grabbed her hand, and she instantly felt at ease. Biting the inside of her cheek, she looked at Eoghan and smiled at him, she just couldn’t help the smile on her face because she was just so happy that she was finally here. That they were finally here, standing before each other about to get married. After everything that had happened in the past year and a half… it all led up to this moment and Harmony couldn’t be any happier.
“We are gathered her today to witness the holy matrimony of Eoghan McGuinness and Harmony Edwards” The minister started and Harmony felt her heart begin to speed up. As he continued to speak, Harmony felt her throat begin to swell up and close and it was starting to get hard for her to breath. She felt her hands tremble a litle and she tried to take deep breaths. Inhale through the nose and exhale through the lips - she did this as quiet as she could. “The couple has requested to recite their own vows.”He announced before looking at Eoghan. “Eoghan, why don’t you start.”
He wasn’t all too shocked when the minister told him to go first. He was half-prepared. He hadn’t prepared an actual speech, knowing the moment it was his turn to talk, he’d mess it all up. It was even worse without a pre-written script, because he had no idea how to start. Plus, the moment he turned to face her, any thought he had left his mind. It was nearly silent, and that made him even more nervous. He took a deep breath and took Harmony’s hand in his hands. He could do it.
“If you asked me a year and half ago if I thought I would be here, getting married at 18, with a daughter, I would’ve laughed in your face.” He chuckled. “I’m going to try to make this brief, but knowing me that I won’t happen.” He laughed, hearing a few laughs in the crowd. He took a deep breath before continuing. “A year and half ago, you came back, Harmony. And I know we had a horrible past that you don’t exactly remember, but I don’t dwell on it anymore. I remember not trusting you at first, but you were patient and didn’t force me. I still remember our first kiss in the kitchens. I had no idea what to do. I hadn’t been kissed before. And as cliche and ironic as it sounds, it was actually magical. Ever since then, really, I couldn’t stop the feelings. I still thank Aoife for basically making me do something that made me happy; otherwise I wouldn’t have asked you out and we wouldn’t be here today. I also still vividly remember the day you told me you were pregnant. It took me a moment to register it because I was 17......I wasn’t even sure I was going to be alive the next day due to the war, and I was going to be a dad. But I was so excited, really. I wanted to be a father, and I got my wish. And then the day you gave birth to Melody, I cried. I did. You probably heard me. I couldn’t help it. I had waited months and months for her, and then she was there. And she’s so beautiful. She gets it from you, as much as you like to protest otherwise. I thank whoever blessed me with both of you. My beautiful girls. Now, that wasn’t brief, but I’ll just wrap it up. I love you so much, Harmony. I love everything about you; your smile, your laugh, your mannerisms; everything. You’ve made me the happiest man, in more ways than one. And I can’t wait to make you my wife and spend the rest of my life with you.”

She lifted her eyes and made eye contact with Eoghan, and it took all her will power and strength to not start sobbing right then and there. Harmony continued to slowly walk down the aisle, step by step. She didn’t pay any mind to any of the guests, if she didn’t see them in the corner of her vision, she would have forgotten that they were even there. Her focus was solely on Eoghan.
As she got closer to the alter, her heart began beating faster and harder, and her nerves were going all over the place. However, the only comfort that was bestowed upon her was seeing Eoghan up there standing, waiting for her. With one last step, she stood before Eoghan and smiled at him, blinking away the tears that threatened to spill out; she couldn’t let that happen - itwould ruin her make up.
Everything else was blurry to him except for Harmony. He couldn’t focus on anything else. It felt like forever, watching her walk down the aisle. As much as he wanted to run halfway and meet up with her, he stayed put. The smile on his face would not go away, as much as he tried, and if there wasn’t a legitimate reason for him to be smiling, he’d probably be creeping some people out.
And then she was there, up at the altar, with him. He immediately grabs her hand, though he wishes he could do so much more. He smiles at her, and he hope she sees how happy he is, even though the tears are still in his eyes. He rather not wait through the whole ceremony, and the vows; he wanted to call her his wife now. But, so much preparation had gone into it, he knew he couldn’t rush through it. He held Harmony’s tighter as he turned towards the minister.
i’ve got fire for a heart, i’m not scared of the dark
“I do.” [Eggo]
Harmony paced in the front room, waiting until it was time to start. To say she was nervous was a huge understatement. Her stomach was in knots, and her hands were shaking horribly. She looked at the small mirror to ake sure her hair and makeup where perfect before taking deep breaths. Now was not the time for a panic attack. “Harmony…” Harmony jumped and turned around to see Aoife in a peach dress with a big smile on her face. “Are you ready?” She asked and Harmony nodded. “Okay, i’ll let them know. When you hear the music, just come on out alright?” Harmony nodded again and took a deep breath when Aoife walked out of the room. Giving herself one more look over, Harmony headed towards the backdoor.
“It’s now or never…” She whispered to herself. She heard the music start and she grabbed her bouquet of flowers and opened the door. She looked around the little black yard wedding, and her eyes landed on Eoghan and she just smiled at him. SHe couldn’t believe that she was getting married to Eoghan. Her Eoghan. The father of her beloved daughter. She smiled even more and felt tears trying to come up, but she blinked them back. She couldn’t cry, she wouldn’t let herself.
He was ready, he had told himself. He was ready to marry Harmony. The love of his life. The mother of his child. He was ready; more ready than he had ever been. But today was the day. The day she would become Harmony McGuiness. He was ready, he told himself. But truth was, there was a little bit of him that thought, maybe he wasn't. He knew he wanted to marry her, wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. But maybe she wasn't. He wasn't doubting her love, but they were young. Maybe she didn't want this right yet. He almost gave himself a heart attack as he stood there, waiting at the altar.
But the music started, and the guests were standing up, turning to watch the bride walk down. He nervously tapped his foot as he heard the music play, just waiting to see Harmony appear. When she did, his brain stopped functioning and his heart stopped. She was so beautiful and he couldn't stop the tears from appearing in his eyes, as the smile on his face just kept getting bigger and bigger. And then she smiled at him, and the tears almost fell.
No..I mean, I’m sure he wants his own kids, but he said we can adopt. And I’m happy about it. You will, don’t worry. I’ll bring him around sometime soon, I promise!
Well, hey, at least he’s looking for alternatives. But if he just flat out didn’t like the fact you couldn’t have kids of your own, then maybe he would have a reason to be scared, for real. Okay, good. Can’t wait to meet him.
He does, Eoghan…. he really does and he doesn’t care that I can’t have children… at least he said he didn’t.
I hope he doesnt, or me and him are going to have a problem. You should bring him around sometime, though. I at least want to meet my future brother in law.
Well..you’re still my brother, and that right there is a bit scary…I think any guy asking the girl he loves, brother to marry her is a scary thing.
Yeah, I can understand that. I don't know, I just wouldve liked him to. But it's okay, because you really love him and I hope he loves you just as much.
It happened… I don’t know when… but he didn’t give me a ring until a while a go… and I’ve just been busy with all the doctor appointments and the stuff… I’m sorry I didn’t tell you sooner… will you forgive me? [pouts] Maybe because hes scared of you? I don’t know.. I mean… He was a hufflepuff like us, do you really need for him to do that?
I'm not mad, just a little bit upset that I didn't know sooner. But it's okay! At least I know now, right? Why would he be scares of me? I'm 5'8 and harmless....mostly. [ shrugs ] It's just courtesy; it doesn't matter if he was your childhood best friend, he still should've asked. But whatever.
[squeals and hugs him] Yay! Thank you! I wouldn’t want anyone but you to walk me down the aisl and give me away to Sammie! Which, by the way! [takes out a ring] He proposed! And it was his others! Isn’t it beautiful, Eoghan!
[ stares for a moment ] What? What- when did this happen? He didn't even ask me for my blessing?!
Will you walk me down the aisle?
That's a given! You know I will.
I has a question for you!
and that question is?
Oh Eoooogghaaan!
Oh Aoooiiiifeee- yes?
Oh my god okay! [leaves and comes back with a big binder] Okay, so this is everything I’ve been collecting since Christmas, don’t let it scare you though! Okay okay, so here are the bridesmaids dresses. I really love the peach color with these dresses, but the daffidil doesn’t look to bad, but the peach is prettier… and peach is really growing on me so I think we should go for peach. Oh oh! This is also the little dress for Melody, isn’t it cute! She’ll even have a little head band with a little flower on it and everything, and it’s so cute!
Jesus! Look at how huge that thing is. I guess if you’re the bride, you have to big binders like that. Well, I think the bridesmaid dresses are pretty, and the peach would go well with it. Yeah, I think we should go with peach, peach is great. Aw! That is so cute! She’ll look like a little princess. Well, even more so than she does now,.
[squeals and smiles, jumping a little on her feet] Good, because I’ve been thinking that if we go with yellow it’ll be a pale daffodil color, or a jasmine color I prefer jasmine more because it’s not so yellow you know? But I really really like peach because it’s got an orangey pink tint to it and I know how much you like orange, and peach is just a pretty color…Oh and I found the most beautiful bridesmaids dresses and the cutest flower girl dress for little Melody, it’s adorable.
[ smiles at her excitement ] Well, personally, I like peach more than other two. It’s a really nice color. I can handle a really pale yellow, but like a really bright yellow and I’d scream. I know you like yellow, for some weird reason, so I’ll make a compromise if you want. But my vote is for peach. Oh, really? Can I see what they look like?
[blushes and hides her face in his shoulder] I love you… [leans up and kisses him quickly] So, I was thinking… a pale yellow or a peach color for the wedding.
[ smiles softly ] I love you, too, beautiful. [ smiles and pecks her lips ] Me and the color yellow don't get along too well. But I mean it would be pretty, as much as I hate to admit it.
Naaaah, she’s got your eye shape, your chin,. She has my nose and lips though. [smiles down at Melody and pokes her nose causing her to laugh and giggle] I don’t know, but you must’ve done something right to get us both.
She's still beautiful just like you, though. [ beams at the both of them ] I don't know what that something is, but I'm damn glad I did it.
