Forgetful bliss

To forget would be to lose all the memories of soft feelings and warm moments … To forget would be to give in to the emptiness that says I’ll never feel this way again … To forget would mean that I’ve truly given up, and if I saw you on the street I would be able to look you in the eye, smile and go on without looking for the hint of what you once said you felt for me … Yea it would be easier if I could forget

Solo

I think some of the hardest times in our lives also come with an atmosphere of singularity. I mean when I went through some pretty tough times it seemed like all the people, team mates, general gab fest friends, disappeared into thin air !! I would find myself saying "WHERE DID THEY GO !!??" When people are going through things I tend to be available and hang around as much as possible but again thats according to my perspective. 

I've come to realize that its not that the people who truly count aren't around, its just that when you are going through something serious its hard to find the person that will give you the answers that you want, or even the sympathetic responses that we expect. I have friends that won't allow me to wallow, EVER. Recently something fell threw that I wanted and felt that was going to flourish into a beautiful part of my future and then it CRASHED and BURNed as if I received a trojan horse that decided to pop open and share its carry ons.

                                      --Pause to google that if you don't get it--

In the first three weeks it was all "poor thing", "we feel for you", "its gonna work out", "that is the rawest deal ever"; these comments then turned into snap out of it, and FAST. I didn't want to hear that, but good friends do that for you. They boost you into action and hate to constantly see you in reaction mode.  Fake friends are around during these hard times too, oh it may not seem like it but they are, and I'll tell you why. It's because they are the ones who encourage your sorrow so that they can feed off of your pain. They live by the motto "It is what it is" (I hate that motto by the way, its a cop out to treat/or be treated by people any way you/they choose, unacceptable).  They need food for the the gossip fodder, something that keeps them warm at night, they want you for their own selfish reasons. These are not your friends. I repeat on a bull horn, THESE ARE NOT YOUR FRIENDS. They are hanger ons that do nothing with their life and attempt to make you feel bad because you are trying to do the opposite. I would rather fail at trying, than succeed at never making an attempt. 

So to you I say be encouraged, stay strong, and don't be sad that you are SOLO for the moment. I would rather be alone with God, and receive occasion pop ins from friends that are here to assist me in reaching my final goal, than to be constantly surrounded by the carnivores that would try to keep me in the same state every year.

Trust

Everyone thinks they are the most trusting people... I mean tell me anything and I promise you won't hear it repeated from my lips, give me something to hold on to and I promise you will get it back. You can trust me I'm sure of it.. but how easily do we trust others ?? A lot of us have been hurt, been the brunt of gossip and rumours (both of which contain incorrect info), been on the receiving end of some harsh criticism or correction; after all of that its kinda hard to commit 100% to actions that leave yourself open for it to happen again. So WHY ???!?!?!?!

why do anything that can allow the world and those that believe that they run it the opportunity to stab holes in you or your projects. One reason and one alone... if you don't do it you won't win. Its not a contest against anyone but yourself. If you don't commit to the success of your own future in spite of what others have the "supposed" power to do to you, you will never win that continuous battle with yourself. There is something inside of all of us, that gift that God breathed into you before you were born that you are to use to create your world, make yourself happy and affect change in others but what happens so often is that before we even fully evolve into the us that God wants us to be, we are stopped by the critiques of others. From then on you have a choice to either let them hurt and stop you or to move past it and the person that you were when they did it to you and keep on the journey. 

People who critique to hurt (some actually are there to help you grow by showing you what you can work on) are only their to stop your destiny.

Question is Do you Trust God Enough To Believe in You?
