Scrunching her nose as she heard the countdown start like it could stop all the unwanted tears welling in her eyes from falling, her late brother, Finrod, not even there in the stands to cheer her on this time, she tried to shut out the sound of the appointed Southlands captain being celebrated by his group before he’d even proven himself this cycle.
