DT: Our Timeless Story The New Lost Party
They are here, the main OC characters that will be aiding in the crazy bizarre life that is Duckburg's Clan McDuck, allies, rivals, and just straight up fun loving teens who will turn the lives of the ducks upside down.~
Sousuke 'Angel' Yukimura (He/Him / Pansexual) - A Japanese-American akita who grew up in a town up North from Duckburg called Critter Cove, Sousuke is an aspiring writer who has been through the wringer of heartache, losing his father at the age of 12 during a boating accident, having his best friend and crush utterly ghosting him, and even suffering under the emotional and physical abuse of his own mother. Sousuke has had it rough and during his three years in Duckburg he had done his best to cope with the trauma he experienced at home, but fighting his newfound anxiety has been a struggle he can't completely endure, not on his own... Now a sophomore student at Duckburg High, Sousuke is a student liaison tasked with the goal in aiding students both new and old to adjust to their environment and help with their struggles, one of his new cases being a certain green-clad duck he had began to grow a complete fondness over.
Tracy 'Jinx' Wisteria (She/Her / Bisexual) - A mischievous cat girl who loves to live a life of high-class luxury, Jinx is the kind of troublemaker who will take as many shortcuts as possible to supply her crazy lifestyle, but there is one mission she has not forgotten and will risk everything to see complete... Finding her missing younger brother. After a tragic house fire had not only took the lives of her parents and caused the disappearance of her brother Jinx has been playing the role of a teen detective with goals to locate her missing sibling, with her investigations leading her to a new crazy life that may just support her search. Now the protege to Poe de Spell, Jinx has a long way to go until she masters her craft as a witch, but hey least she'll have fun while doing so, especially in her crafty use of hexes to bring bad luck to those she deems worth it.
Christopher 'Chilly' Foster (He/Him / Bisexual) - The lonely prince of high school, Chilly is a popular student that got numerous girls at school raving about him in fan clubs, especially in the case of his talent as an ice skater, but unknown to them Chilly's title as the lonely prince is more accurate than they know. Growing up Chilly was raised in an abusive home with parents who weren't supportive in his goal as an ice skater in the slightest, in fact it was this abuse that culminated in his inevitable action of running away and even meeting his new magical mentor Poe de Spell and his best friend Jinx. A wizard in training, Chilly has taken his studies of magic with complete seriousness in comparison to his more wild feline companion, but his journey in discovering the Lost Collection is marked with a goal all in itself, that being the search for a new loving family that will accept him.
Austin 'Mars' Cooper (He/Him / Gay) - An Australian-Amercan high school senior, a three year running junior boxing champion, and overall a lovable dork who seeks to bring out the best of his fellow students, Mars is a passionate and determined fella who takes his new role as a student liaison seriously, but with all rising stars there are some lows in his life as well. Mars has always been a talented boxer, it was the one talent he felt passionate about all throughout his years as a student, but due to a tragic bus accident just right after his latest championship victory his life as the No.1 Boxer came to an end, losing motor function in his left hand and left with a limp in his leg... Yet even with his newfound struggles this crimson roo is not one to back down, he came too close to let his dream die like this! Taking on the guise of the 'Red Rider,' Mars now acts as a masked mercenary to travel the world in hopes to find a cure for his current ailments, seeking out Collection pieces that may heal his vast injuries and restore him to the ring he so desperately craves. The No.1 Boxer hasn't heard no bell yet!
Ashton 'Ashe' Lowell (He/Him / Gay) - A high school junior and overall bad boy, to most individuals Ashe is a scary big bad wolf who is known to thrash countless punks who get on his nerves, but beneath his rough exterior Ashe is more akin to a big brother figure who helped out every misfit who needed help, forming himself a pack in his gang known as the 'Wild Hunt.' Acting as the guardian for all the individuals who suffered from bullying, Ashe has now respect to anyone who throws their weight around for the sake of hurting others, a fact that was deeply ingrained into him the night he lost his mother to an unknown assailant. A beast to those who sleights him, a caring brother to a makeshift family of misfits, and a protective fella who wants to help those who've been mistreated, Ashe has many layers beneath that tough exterior, but nothing can prepare people that this bad boy is harboring strong feelings for another, reducing himself to that of a lovestruck puppy behind closed doors.~
Ian 'Nox' Ravencroft (He/They / Pansexual / Nonbinary) - Not much is known about Nox, to most he just showed up one day and that was it, but to the likes of Sousuke, Louie, and the rest of the McDuck family Nox's origins comes directly from one of the very Lost Collection pieces they stumbled upon during their first big adventure, revealing himself as a living shadow whose sole mission it to protect the treasures from the hands of those who seek to misuse them. Created with an amorphous body made of a special dark ichor, Nox was birthed in the confines of the Azure Garden, an artifact that connects to a pocket dimension wreathed in eternal night with only fellow shades acting as his only means of company, but after being released by accident by Sousuke, Wakko, and Louie, he had taken this chance to explore the world he had been kept away from for so long. A valuable ally for his unique physiology and abilities, Nox does whatever he can to aid the ducks in their adventures in collecting the Lost Collection, though it would seem he has taken quite a liking to his new mentor and father-figure, a whimsical adventurer and a well known actor, Felix the Cat.
Gwendolyn 'Gwen' Blackmore (She/Her / Straight) - The adopted daughter to a wealthy raven who owns numerous businesses including a winery, a popular movie studio catering to horror films, and even a law firm, Gwen is a figure whom you should never tick off as this gothic magpie will stop at nothing to ruin the day of those who sleight her. Terrifying in numerous ways Gwen is a vindictive individual who has a love for all things supernatural, a fact that brought her to the knowledge of the Lost Collection through one of her dad's latest discoveries, using what she can to add to her own personal collection of supernatural trinkets, including an amulet supposedly haunted by an evil sorcerer. While Gwen comes off as a terrifying figure who one should tread carefully around she's not completely an awful person, if one takes the time to establish a bond with her they may learn that this magpie is genuinely a caring person, if not a bit prickly around the edges, one of such individuals she's especially fond of is her boyfriend, a gothic ghost bat by the name of Daniel.
Atticus Black (He/Him / Bisexual) - An individual well know for a penchant in skipping out on school in favor of avoiding the drama filled high school life, Atticus is a person who rather spends the day relaxing or even hanging out at an arcade to destress, but unknown to others Atticus lives a double life that comes out when the sun finally sets, that being a mysterious phantom thief. Bored with the monotony and drama of both his school and home life, Atticus felt like he was trapped for the longest time until he came to the knowledge of the Collection, since then he's been using his newfound artifacts to collect on special scores, taking only a single item from a locale just for the thrill of it, beating hi-tech security systems with a mischievous glee in his eyes. With his scores becoming public knowledge and his alias as the 'Ghost' climbing the headlines, Atticus can't help but seek bigger scores to satisfy his growing excitement, becoming a genuine adrenaline junkie to his own secret life more so than the life he had prior, so once he comes head to head with a clever duck in the form of Louie, this opossum may have just found himself his newest score... The Money Bin of Scrooge McDuck.
Trivia:
Sousuke is a mildly chubby fella, if someone were to call him fat or anything relating to that in a negative light you essentially trigger a rage much akin the Huey's 'Duke.'
Sousuke has a total of four older siblings and five cousins. Hibiki, Kaede, Takumi, and Ryuji being his siblings and Kotaro, Hanabi, Mizuki, Kuro, and Kenji being his cousins. His cousins life in Japan while the rest of his siblings are living in Critter Cove, yet he is surprised to discover he now has a younger adoptive sister during the time he left by the name of Yuno.
Sousuke has a crush on Louie that much is evident but after seeing that Wakko a good friend of them both also has the same feelings the akita would practice self sacrifice just so the two can be happy, even if it hurts himself.
Both Jinx and Chilly are practicing magic users and have already been through the rite to earn themselves their own mystic familiars, Jinx receiving that of a mouse she named Salem and Chilly an arctic fox he calls Anastasia, or Anna for short.
Jinx is much like Alex Russo from Wizards of Waverly Place in her use of magic to take shortcuts through life, in comparison Chilly is more like Justin Russo who uses magic responsibly and often has to clean up her messes.
Mars used to get into tons of fights back during middle school, often trying to fight off bullies, delinquents, or gangsters who try to mess with the orphanage he grew up in, in fact part of the reason why he was nicknamed Mars was in reference to the Roman war god.
In terms of relationships Mars only had a single lasting one that sorta was put on pause due to the fact both he and his boyfriend's goals kept them apart. With Mars seeking to win boxing championships and his boyfriend Blake being a teen actor there wasn't time for both of them to be together, so they agreed to split apart on good terms.
Many individuals had believed Ashe to be a womanizer due to his delinquent lifestyle, but unknown to most Ashe is surprisingly openly gay, a fact which comedically shocks people every time he admits to such. He's utterly dumbfounded how people don't notice.
When Ashe was a kid he used to go camping at Critter Cove with his mom and older sister, during one of these excursions he met and fell for Sousuke who too was also camping at the time with their own dad. While they are teenagers now Sousuke had forgotten about their childhood meeting, much to Ashe's sorrow.
Ashe and his entire family are purebred werewolves, meaning they can change at any time, no matter if the moon is out or not.
Due to their malleable body Nox has a penchant to play with it to take on various forms, some more horrifying monstrosities, some where he's various objects or animals, or even that of other genders and physical builds. In fact his current visage is just one of such moldings, if he hadn't taken up his feline appearance he'd take on the shape of an amorphous black blob with gleaming blue eyes.
Ever since he started exploring the world outside the garden he grew up in, Nox has taken up a love of acting and has joined the school drama club with Dewey, he even grew a unique relationship with one of Calisota's biggest stars, Felix the Cat, whom personally takes the shadowy feline under his wing.
Nox's body is composed of shadows as such he cannot die from normal means, even if he did die he would simply reconstruct at the use of one of his nine lives, even then the best way to simply kill one of said lives is with extreme amounts of light akin to a laser. Nox is also exempt from the need to eat and only does so out of his own enjoyment, but he only gains sustenance if he were to siphon one's vitality through physical touch... He also finds it fun to bite a person much like a vampire when he needs a fix to keep him constituted.
Gwen is unknowingly in the possession of Merlock's amulet, as such she has no idea of the evil lurking inside of it, think of it like how Scrooge's Number One Dime had contained Magica's body.
Gwen's father, Clovis Blackmore, the man who adopted her when she was just an infant is an old friend of Scrooge's from back in the 1800s, in fact he is an immortal who gained his everlasting life and surprising youth via otherworldly dealings. Supposedly him adopting Gwen was part of the pact he made with Gwen's mother, a lady who couldn't raise her due to struggles in her own life.
Atticus's parents are in a rough patch in their relationship, his dad is an officer of the Duckburg Police Department while his mom is an investigative reporter, part of why Atticus wants to avoid home during the day and night is because there was an issue in one of them cheating on the other, leading to discussions of a potential divorce. It also didn't help that his younger sister had passed away the previous year which brought more strain and heartache to his family.
Atticus does indeed have a love for the supernatural, more specifically ghosts, in fact one of his personal artifacts had given him the capability to see them, which in turn allows him to stay connected to his deceased sister.
In terms of the Lost Collection Journals that these individuals possesses Sousuke holds in possession the Book of the Archivist, Gwen the Book of the Beast, Atticus the Book of the Thief, Mars the Book of the Healer, both Jinx and Chilly holding the Book of the Warlock, and Ashe the Book of the Dreamer. Six out of seven journals within their possession while the Book of the Engineer lays in the hands of Void Industries.
And with that I give you some of the biggest OC character set to appear in my project of DT: OTS, characters of whom will hold the most significance to the story as potential allies and rivals to the likes of Clan McDuck, while also serving as enemies for the series main antagonists Void Industries.
