The Warner Siblings Headcanons

Decided to post my Warner Siblings HCs earlier than expected. I was too excited to get these out!

As a Group:

-The Warner Siblings are all REALLY skilled at storytelling. They each specialize in different genres (Yakko in suspense and horror, Wakko in action/adventure, and Dot in romance and drama) and somehow manage to never have anyone guess what they'll say next.

-All of the Warners love to doodle! It's a good way for them to keep their hands busy and keep themselves grounded when they struggle to focus. They often make funny caricature doodles of each other and staff they know or have previously known.

-The Warner Siblings are banned from participating in Shenaniween (a Toon holiday akin to April Fools, look it up in my Toon Headcanon page if you don't know!) because they somehow keep doing too well each and every time.

-I know everyone and their mom has practically said this in their own Animaniacs headcanon, but the Warners really WERE locked in the water tower for years. However, even with having been locked in that tower for years, they still have an unhealthy attachment to it and get noticeably ANNOYED and angry should someone make a nasty comment about the tower.

-It's not just Dot who hates being nicknamed by others. Neither Wakko or Yakko can stand any shortening or dimunitive of their own names either. The only ones who are allowed to nickname them are each other. Even then it's sparse and saved for special occasions ONLY.

-All of the Warners have the worst bed head you will ever see. They have even worse morning breath (It's surprisingly Dot that has the worst out of all of them) They keep up on their hygiene daily but this has been a constant since they were created.

-The Warner Siblings absolutely ADORE the Lilo and Stitch movies. They take the Ohana lesson deeply to heart and constantly quote it. As a matter of fact, they actually HAVE met Lilo and Stitch themselves and they are nothing but kind and respectful to the latter two.

-The Warners are MASTERS at finding and exploiting loopholes. They'll even make loopholes out of loopholes. Honestly, they all would have been excellent lawyers if they wanted to be.

-All the Warners are neurodivergent in some way. Yakko has autism and anxiety, Wakko has ADHD, and Dot has sensory processing disorder (SPD).

-Aside from the Looney Tunes, the Warner Siblings GREATLY look up to Tom and Jerry. Their physical comedy and mastery of slapstick is something they strive to achieve in their own daily lives. In terms of who gets along with who, Yakko gets along with Tom best while Wakko and Dot get along with Jerry best.

Yakko Warner:

-Yakko likes to say he's a jack of all trades. He likes to believe he's skilled in everything....but if there's something he absolutely CAN'T do (but won't admit it to himself) it's that he absolutely SUCKS at, it's video games. He always gets last place whenever he DOES play, even at really simple games, and more often than not rage quits only a quarter in.

-Yakko has a BIG guilty pleasure for nerdcore songs. He's honestly a bit annoyed that there aren't any of him and his siblings. He would have LOVED to listen to them.

-Along with loving nerdcore songs, Yakko is a talented songwriter and composer. Most, if not all the songs on the Warners' segments of Animaniacs (original and reboot), were written and composed by Yakko himself.

-Yakko's not just skilled in regular language, he's also really, REALLY good with cryptography! He can easily scramble and unscramble any sort of cipher, coded language, and much, much more!

-Yakko also likes to dabble in philosophy. Both half seriously and half mockingly. He will randomly drop a philosophical phrase or musing as he's whacking someone into oblivion with his mallet.

-Probably canon, but Yakko is BIG into musical theater and Broadway. I'd feel like he'd be big into Epic the Musical and In the Heights. In the Heights more so because he HEAVILY relates with the theme of struggling to provide. 'Pacienca Y Fe' (both versions) makes him tear up every time.

-One of Yakko's biggest faults is that he's VERY meddling and has a bad habit of interfering when he shouldn't. ESPECIALLY when it comes to his siblings. Whenever he sees something that grabs his interest, he can't resist the urge to meddle and butt himself in.

-Another of Yakko's flaws is that he is a HABITUAL complainer. Let's be clear that he's not a complainer out of ungratefulness or selfishness...he's a complainer out of dramatization and dramatics. But boy, he does it OFTEN.

-Out of all of the Warner Siblings, it’s Yakko that has the worst table manners. He constantly puts his elbow on the table, he talks with his mouth full, the works. He also happens to be a very loud chewer.

-When Yakko was in his more formative years, everything, from his clothes to his accessories needed to be super tight. Why? He just liked the feeling of tightness.

-Yakko LOVES playing 'gotchas!'. Even on his own siblings. And boy, is he GOOD at them. It's one of his favorite ways to take down his foes aside from good ol' Toon Karma.

Wakko Warner:

-Wakko is incredibly skilled in playing classical instruments. He's ESPECIALLY good at playing the piano. He discovered this talent when he was playing around with the instrument and accidentally played the entire set of Clair De Lune.

-Wakko is REALLY big into cosplay. This is because he's VERY big into crafting in general and loves using his skills to cosplay other characters he loves. That being said, he only cosplays live action characters because he doesn't want to disrespect other Toons.

-Going off of this, it's due to this that it's actually Wakko whose the most skilled at doing parodies because he understands at the core of what makes a character WORK in the eyes of the audience.

-Wakko is not just the physically strongest, he's also the most agile! He can easily climb anything, flip over himself with ease, and do much more. That being said, he's also the worst at actual physical combat.

-Wakko has the best luck out of the siblings. Somehow, he's the one finding all of the five dollar bills on the ground.

-Wakko has a fondness for farms and farm animals. He especially REALLY likes cows and hens and wants to own some of his own. He does NOT like roosters though, considering them too "aggresssive."

-While Wakko SAYS he will eat anything and he usually does...the one food he cannot STAND is sour cream. Matter of fact, he doesn't really like condiments in general. He prefers to eat food without them to taste every single raw flavor.

-Wakko sings the entire alphabet to himself whenever he has trouble remembering a letter to spell. Matter of fact, he has small little tunes for everything that he sees as important remembering (taught to him by Yakko).

-Wakko is a fan of fidget toys. He especially really likes the toys that he can squeeze and/or wrap around. Naturally, he also has a habit of biting them.

-Wakko's favorite pieces of clothing, aside from his hat and shirt, are fuzzy socks. He has a whole COLLECTION of fuzzy socks that he wears. He wears different ones meaning different things depending on what mood he's in for the day.

Dot Warner:

-Dot's flower hairtie was designed by herself. Her model sheet originally had her without it but she felt like she needed something to complete her look...and thus, the hairtie was born. She has purposefully made it so that it can NEVER be taken off because she was terrified she would lose/misplace it someday.

-If the Warners were on a deserted island, Dot is the one that would do the best. Yakko may have raised her and Wakko by himself, but she's got the most survival instincts out of the three.

-Dot has a habit of not stepping on the lines on floors or sidewalks. She ALWAYS carefully avoids touching them unless absolutely necessary. This is because of Yakko and Wakko constantly playing 'Don't Touch the Line' with her when she was in her more formative years.

-Dot also has a habit of looking up gravestones/obituaries of famous people. She likes finding out where they're buried, though she wouldn't ever visit them herself (unless she personally knew them during her days in the 30s).

-Dot has an affinity for weapons. Not just any weapons. Toon weapons. She's not only the best at using them, she's also the best at making them.

-Dot has a soft spot for Pomeranians. They remind her a bit of herself. Cute, vicious, and absolutely VICIOUS when necessary.

-Dot's a BIG fan of cozy life games such as Stardew Valley, Animal Crossing, and Wylde Flowers. Just playing them is the quickest way for her to relax.

-Dot REALLY likes pin badges. She will collect several pin badges of different types and put them on literally anything everywhere.

-Dot is a HUGE fan of Kirby from the Kirby video games. It is one of her biggest dreams to meet him some day.

-Dot is VERY friendly with Goslyn Mallard from Darkwing Duck. She's also become great friends with Webby Vanderquack since the Ducktales Reboot. She knows Lena through Webby but doesn't talk to her as often, not finding much in common with her.
