"This place... Naga, what do you ask of me? Am I to... what am I to do... ?"
The island was mysterious, making Libra wonder- was it luck or misfortune that had brought him here? His original goal- saving the Exalt- was put aside, for the moment, as the monk wandered about, looking for someone or something that he could deem familiar. The sand of the beach shifted under the weight of his heavy armor, the axe upon his back, and he sighed. His breath came out melodically, a hymn to the gods he was so dedicated to.
Soon his pale gaze rises, settling in front of him, on any figure he could see. Pale fingers worry at his long hair as he approaches, bowing politely before addressing them in a soft voice.
"I beg your pardon, but I am unsure of where I am. Could you, perhaps... direct me? Anywhere would be acceptable, really."
"Oh my…"
The timid dancer thought to herself out loud, not particularly minding the others that might have heard her. Her current goal was to find people she would actually be able to trust on this now very full place, which in theory sounded quite easy, but after fighting a war any stranger could easily become an enemy or an ally.
Deep in thought, she didn’t even notice the wall that was quickly coming up. Wish a soft thud from the wall and a silent screech of pain from the nervous girl’s mouth…it seems like she finally noticed. She had fallen on her butt from the sudden shock, staring up at the wall and praying to Naga that no one witnessed her blunder.
"O-oh Gods…! How embarrassing…"
After his morning prayer in this very odd place, Libra was slowly making his way around, trying to gauge where, exactly, he was. An odd locale, to be sure... perhaps it would offer some new inspiration. Or... another bout of misfortune. Either way, the monk would accept it with open arms and a hopeful, if closed off heart. In a soft voice he hums to himself as he walks, admiring the futuristic scenery that was so foreign to him.
He's brought from his reverie suddenly as he hears something- or someone- hit something else, and then a noise of pain. With concern, he lifts his head, brushing his hair from his eyes and setting them on the downed girl in front of him. There's the faint sound of his boots on the ground as he rushes over, crouching next to her and holding his hands over her shoulder in an attempt at assistance, his gloved fingers barely brushing her skin.
"Ah... I saw your fall... are you alright? I'm quite a hand at healing, if you're injured."
After a moment, he retracts his hands, resting them on his thighs as he kneels next to the dancer.
