➤ nolle;;   Every character goes through plenty of storms in their life that shape them into the person they are today. What stage of the storm is your character at in their storyline? Are they just coming up on dark clouds? Are they currently residing in the midst of it? Or – Have they made it through to the other side?

At this point, Olwen is in the eye.  There’s an eerie, peaceful calm that’s dawned after an elongated hell, but there is more just around the corner that he will have to weather.   He knows it’s coming, he just isn’t sure when it will hit.  He may think he’s prepared for it, but deep down knows that no matter how skilled and focused he is, there are still things that have the ability to turn his whole world upside-down.

➤ iral;;   All characters have gone through an embarrassing situation that they didn’t have the grace and agility to dodge. If your character had the chance to go back in time for one day to one single occurrence, what would it be and what would they change?

Olwen believes in living up to your mistakes and owning them, as well as well learning from them, so were he given the chance to go back to change anything that others might deem as embarrassing, he would decline it.  His core teachings are that you learn by doing, and every move shapes you.  Even if he could erase something bad, it may negate a part of him that learned and grew, so he would not want to change it.

➤ jacos;;   Words can be deadly if used at the right time. If your character had the opportunity to destroy another’s reputation, would your character take advantage of the opportunity or decide against it?

He has absolutely no desire to play the gossip game.  Even if he had scintillating details on someone he despised, he would much rather destroy that person physically rather than emotionally.  He sees no true value in the prestigious reputation that so make silvers perpetuate, and would be far more inclined to maim a body than a reputation.

Right now, I’m crossing my fingers (and toes and arms and legs) in the hopes I can hold onto this little guy as his skeleton stuck out the most to me after reading through the bios available!  I have an incredible muse for him, but if for some reason that does not work I have a couple others in mind that I may app for later on.  For now I’ve only submitted one application. =]

➤ blonos;;   If your character was given an opportunity to live forever, would your character do it? What if it was at the expense of their loved ones? Would this change their answer?

Even without his loved ones at risk, Olwen would not be interested in an immortal life. He already feels that his true purpose is an honorable death, for either someone he cares for or or some other cause he might view as a worthwhile one, and to live forever would rob him of that.  He’d be willing to gift that offer to someone he cares for, though, if they craved it.

➤ eagrie;;  Your character has been granted access to see their future. What do they see? Is this what they imagined? If not, would your character try to change the outcome?

He would likely see himself in one of two scenarios: either he’s in the exact same position he is now, guarding the princess as that’s the one place he always wants to be, or he wouldn’t see himself at all as he would no longer be of this world.  Either would please him, and would not do much to change it.

what other connections are you interested in exploring other than 3 & 13?

I’m really particularly excited to see how Olwen’s relationship with the rest of the royal family would be. So skeletons 4, 5, & 6.  Mainly because before his assignment to the princess he had a pretty apathetic opinion towards the royal family, but now knowing their importance to the princess I think it’d be interesting to delve into how her opinion would grow & change his own.

Also, while I think that Olwen struggles with the whole concept of friendship due to his desire to avoid attachments, I’m excited to write against skeleton 20 as well as 10, both who he might respect for their occupations if nothing else.

Honestly though, literally every single one of these skeletons are so beautifully written and intriguing, I just want to write against all of them!  Everyone in the talk tag seems so nice as well and I just really hope I’m lucky enough to be accepted so that I have the chance to write with them all!

➤ haven;;  Every character has aspects of themselves that they would prefer to keep in the shadows or hidden from others. Does your character have a few secrets hidden from the world? If so, what are they and why do they hide them?

The level of ruthlessness that Olwen is capable of is something that he feels the need to hold back around most of the public eye.  Because of his training as well as  his mentality towards others, his regard for human life (with very few exceptions) is nearly non-existent.  He would kill without question given the proper motivation, and that motivation may not always be considered justified by others around him.  There are a few that know exactly what he’s capable of, but for the most part that particular “skill” is kept tucked away until it’s needed.
