“Why thank you,” she smirked slightly before taking the drink from his hand and taking a large gulp of the alcohol, raising an eyebrow. “Not sure if it’s good to be back yet, ask me again in a week. Good to see you, though.”
He chuckled and smirked right back at her. “I will definitely get back to you about that.” He teased with a smile. “It’s always good to see me.”
‘ Oh- I thought if there’s a shoe buying problem and a toy buying problem that books would go in the same category too. ‘
“I feel like that only applies to women. I could be wrong though.”
“You know, we should honestly do this more often. Hang out and get some food.”
Cameron nodded his head in agreement. “We definitely should yes.”
‘ I don’t know how but I’ve managed to buy five different cover versions of Frankenstein by Mary Shelley. I think I have a book buying problem. ‘
“There’s no such thing as a book buying problem.”
“I can’t believe I was ill during Christmas. So many mistletoe opportunities missed. I was deprived of all the kissing I deserve.“
“Of all the kissing you deserve? Never heard that before, interesting.”
“Back in time for the fun holiday. Hand over a drink, bud.”
“Yes, your majesty.” He said, playfully rolling his eyes at her, before handing her his drink. “It’s good to have you back, Em”
“Well good thing I’m not much of a swimmer than. Guess I’ll stick to the drinking. Care to join?”
“Drinking is always good.” He said with a nod. “Yeah sure. I’d love to.”
“That is more than fine by me.”
“Alright. Awesome. Yay for food.” He said with a chuckle.
“I’m kind of glad that it isn’t that crowded. Then I don’t have to worry about cleaning off all the machines before I use them, because lord knows what the people in this town might try to pass along.” He laughed at his own joke, even though it really wasn’t that funny, and then put the weight he was lifting down, to move to the next one up.
Cameron chuckled along with him and nodded his head. “Yeah. I’m glad too. You’re right though. You never know what people might be carrying around.” He said with a shrug as he put down his weight as well to switch to the next one.
“This place is pretty old, and no one really comes here that much anymore. But I’ve been coming here forever, so I probably won’t stop any time soon. You know?” What the other said kind of struck a chord with him, and he nodded along with his words, “I get where you’re coming from there. To be honest, this place is probably the most neutral ground in town.”
“It is pretty old but it’s still amazing. Not a lot of people come here and it’s not as crowded. That’s what I love about it.” He told him with a soft smile. He came here for a few years now and he loved it. He came here when he needed to get away from everything. “I definitely agree with you. There are not a lot of places like this in town.”
“Please, if it isn’t too much, I’d prefer to go dutch. I do appreciate the gentlemanly offer, however. When would you like to go? I mean, we can get there early if you’d like…”
Cameron nodded his head and gave her a soft smile in return. “That is fine by me.” He confirmed. “I don’t really mind. We can go there right now if you want. I really don’t like being too late.” He chuckled.
“Oh I know. Trust me, I know. It would be nice if they toned it down a bit though”
“Maybe the sex is so good that neither of them can keep quiet.” He joked with a chuckle.

Dominyk picked up a weight, lifting it easily, as he cast a glance at the other, “Sound’s like a plan to me.” So, someone was actually willing to get in the ring with him, other than one of his siblings. That was something he wasn’t exactly used to. “You’re right though. This is probably the one place in town that I don’t ever get bored. Maybe it’s just because it gets me away from everything else.”
“Great. I haven’t been in the ring for a while, so I might be a little rusty, but oh well.” He said with a shrug as he went over to pick up a pair of dumbbells and lifting them. “Exactly. I never get board and I guess the gym is kinda my safe haven.” He told the other male with a shrug. He liked coming here cause it cleared his head.
“So blue it almost looks black but when you get in the light you see just how vivid the color is.” She muses with a smile. “Anytime. Keeps my hands busy and I like creating things from something seemingly simple.”
“That sounds like the perfect color for me.” He said with a smile. “I don’t think I have the patience to knit anything.”
“Well then…I’m sorry that you chose to tease me and that the result of that was me calling you slow.”
“THat is not a very satisfying apology”

“I don’t know.” He said with a chuckle. “It’s just exciting.”
