Last night consisted of me talking about Lang in a main title game until I fell asleep. Or atleast- what he’d be like in court. Since if a game is set in Zheng Fa, there’s more of a possibility for him to fill in for Gumshoe who eaither is in the game-or is excluded once more (but most likely w/ a reason this time. Just imagine him as chief of police !!!). How his testimonies would be vague af like “Yeah…that guy he’s like, really dead.” && Phoenix would just be so confused like “Really…dead? Well, how exaxtly did he die?” Lang ofc snaps at him back, telling him “Well didn’t you read the damn autopsy report?” (Which usually would be followed with a “No…Agent Lang, you never gave it to me.”). He’d still throw around his proverbs, especially in his testimonies && whenever Nick presses on one of them Lang just snaps at him because he’s just “I don’t….understand. Could you translate that?” Followed by Miles piping up w/ a “He can’t explain it because it dosen’t mean anything.” Courtroom squabbling usually is followed between Miles && Lang to when the Judge tells them to settle down Lang just glares at him && growls, causing him to ofc react eaither in a scared manner, or have to forcefully remove him from the courtroom.

Just imagine Justine as the judge && how Edgeworth would get even more torn apart than just with Lang alone. Literally, both Judge && Detective would favor the defense more, bc we know how Lang feels about prosecutors. Edgeworth would probably be the only prosecutor you face, but I like to imagine Sebastian Prosecutes a case aswell && atleast in one trial is at the Prosecutor desk with Miles. Which ofc confuses Phoenix bc  he’s only use to having his side being full (which I imagine he does more cases on his own now that Apollo’s moved on), since Sebastian is still his protege Mles prefers to have him at the stand- Sebastian accidently slips out calling Miles his dad (I’d say Pops, but that’s reserved for Blaise) && Nick is just sweating, confused && like “Oh….right, okay.” Speaking of just Nick at the bench, Trucy && Athena are manning the cases back in LA where Athena goes up against Klavier rather than Simon this time (Since Simon needs a break && we know what prosecutor rly needs the spot light). && since Klav would be prosecuting, that means his detective would still be Ema.   Also for Franziska’s grand return, she obvs works side by side w/ Lang- I like to imagine her return i better than her returning for two cases in aai2 && is defiantly brushed off like Maya’s in aa6 . I can see her eaither in Zheng Fa or even LA if it so calls for it Tho like aa6 whatever the final case is everyone will be there && it’ll be gr8

From        updated autopsy reports, to whips, to scorching coffee, a man gets tired after        a while.❞

   ‘  Ah, well they’re more of cases that are left to the big boys. I ran into Prosecutor Edgeworth through this case following a smuggling ring, yeah? Dunno how many of them are ever brought to court but I’ve met a few attorneys and prosecutors durng my time of being an agent.      HEH. Whips? Ya don’t say. You wouldn’t happen to have faced that VonKarma in court, have you? Sis surely is someone you don’t wanna mess with. ‘

     AT the very least, it didn’t seem like the man was HOSTILE in any way; rather friendly, actually! In turn, this is the cause of Phoenix’s own relaxed grin.

[ it’s funny that daryan had talked about him so much but he couldn’t remember daryan talking about a man like this. how curious. ]

Sharp eyes would take note of the necklace adorned around him, rippling out a chuckle before remembering where he’d seen it before. ‘ You probably don’t remember this pup, ‘ Mainly since at the time he was still surrounded by his hoard of men. ‘ But I was the head agent ‘round the time during that kidnapping over at Gatewater Land. ‘ Hopefully bringing up that incident from years in the past would atleast spark some sort of memory for the Prosecutor.
