☠ A Killer Thread: 10-6-2016
█▐ CARLOS
There were a few things that Carlos didn’t like. Spiders, heights and being told what to do, so when the public told him to stay at home to avoid the killer, he did the opposite. He hated being the hero, but someone had to. For some reason the police and PRIME seemed awfully occupied anyway, and he knew he could protect himself, even if he had using his powers.
There wasn’t supposed to be anyone outside at this point, but there she was. A blonde haired girl, holding a golden leaf, looking practically mortified at the sight of it. He could’ve sworn it wasn’t golden when she picket it up. “Are you alright?” he called out. The reports of people killed had risen. “Why are you out here so late?”
The sound of the man’s voice startled Shiloh, causing the leaf in her hand to turn to ice just before she dropped it and it shattered into many small and indistinguishable pieces on the welcoming ground. ❝Oh, yeah I-I am perfectly fine. Yeah. No problems here...❞ She swallowed before sighing slightly.
Greatly lacking in access to a television, as her cheap hotel had none, she was unaware of the curfew set in places by PRIME and the city. She hadn’t heard their warnings. ❝I was job hunting and it wasn’t going so well, so I was going to drink, but... that costs money... and now I’m here.❞ After a few hours of wandering while wondering if she would have been better off facing the wrath of her parents’ cult. No. I’d probably be dead by now.
