If he had any question about whether or not Shiloh was feeling as weird about their abrupt meeting as he was, her awkward bubble of a laugh cleared it right up. They were definitely on the same page. His head bobbed along a slow nod. “Good,” he both answered and echoed. “Just, y’know, trying to survive the summer and everything. It’s been crazy hot out lately.” Was that where they were at now – discussing the weather? Lucas internally cringed as he finally let himself look away from Shiloh’s face, instead glancing to the multiple shopping bags that she was juggling. “D’you need any help with that?” He offered, gesturing out. “Like, getting out to your car or anything? That one there looks like it’s about to bust.”
“Yep... super hot” she said rocking on her heels. Shiloh looked down and let out a groan, taking a step towards him she pushes her bags into him for him to hold, “Come on” she said as she started with the treck back to her car. After a few steps she looked back to look at him, “Do you want to drink?” asking casually, more than she thought she’d be capable of.
Zara was living it up at the bachelorette party, and even though she was loud, wild, and as drunk as the bride herself, there was a girl even drunker than both of them. It was a bit gauche, she was into that territory where she was now making a fool of herself, and of course, Zara would not hesitate to make fun of that. “That’s Annie,” she explained to Shiloh. “I don’t know if you did the right thing sending her another drink, but hopefully she won’t have an accident like the bachelorette in Cabo.”
Looking over at her friend she laughed, looking at the girl supposedly named Annie. “Well, she looks like she is having fun... Wait!” she stated looking back over at the blonde, “Accident?” she asker her grabbing the drink in front of her, taking a sip. “What happened. I must know now!”
No matter how many times they crossed paths, Lucas still never expected it. Even when mutual friends were involved, he managed to remain blissfully oblivious to the possibility that he could see Shiloh literally anywhere in Silver Lake. And this time around, it just so happened to be when he was mid-text argument with Connor, one of his roommates, about what proof of vodka was best to soak gummy bears in. The world worked in mysterious ways… Lucas glanced up from his phone to survey the shelves, but he nearly did a double take when he spotted her. “Uh,” he stalled out for a split second, unable to hide his surprise, “hey, Shi.” Phone slid into the kangaroo pocket of his hoodie, he matched her smile and then forced it wider for good measure. “How’s it going? You look… busy.”
Looking down she looked at all of her bags and made a laugh, one she tried to make normal but turned awkward. “Good... good” she said with a nod and almost forgetting he asked her something else. “Oh yeah, just running some errands and stuff” Shiloh said biting her bottom lip. The next moment she had no idea what to do next, just say okay bye? For some reason she liked standing here with him, “How have you been?” she asked not even thinking before she said it.
Another day, another grueling shift at Los Globos. Of course, Nina was grateful to have the job, but dealing with obnoxious drunks on a regular basis wasn’t as fun as cheesy eighties sitcoms made it look. Luckily for her, she had her side gig, which was bringing more money in weekly than bartending could ever get her. Hopefully it wouldn’t be too long until she said adios to the nightclub altogether.
“Huh?” The brunette said as soon as she noticed a customer talking to her, the word slipping out of her lips before she even registered it. “Oh, sorry. I was out of it for a second. It’s been a long day. A jaëger bomb for you, and…” Her eyes narrowed then, as she tried to decipher what the other person was having. “An old fashioned for the gentleman. Anything else? We’re having a two for one special on tequila shots if you want to make it the night of your life.”
Shiloh smiled up at the bartender as she placed the drinks in front of them, “Yes I would love to have some tequila as well” she stated giving her a smile. “So, have you had a fun night so far? It is busy in here” she said almost as a joke. She had many friends that were bartenders, and it didn’t seem like they loved the late night drunks that would come in.
Jimmy had spent plenty of time with Shiloh before, so when she decided to order another drink, particularly whatever the drunk, stumbling girl was having, he wasn’t all that surprised. He just laughed; he’d never turn down a free drink.
“Are you planning on turning into that girl at the end of the night?” He asked. “Am I going to have to look after you because you can’t handle your liquor?” Not that Jimmy could, either.
Shiloh laughed a bit and shook he head, “Um no, I can handle my liquor” she laughed to her, “But, I want to have a fun night and that is exactly what little miss thing is doing over there” she said laughing a bit. “So, what are you doing out tonight? Looking for your new pray?”
Shiloh was running around town all day; finding things for her parents, looking for decor for the studio, and trying to find the new bottle of tequila she wanted. Finally looking up she saw him. Of course when she looked like this and out of breath he was there. Her first plan was to turn around and run away, but she realized it was too late to run. Clearing her throat she tried to give him the politest smile possible, “hi” Shi said to Lucas.
Shiloh had a long day at work, but nothing like a few shots of tequila to take the edge off. Looking around the bar she noticed a very drunk girl stumbling around in the corner, louder than anyone else there. “I’m having whatever she’s having!” she said to the bartender over the loud music. Looking over at the person next to her, “And get them one too” she said pointing to her neighbor.
The scorching heat of the summer was barely beginning to fade into a slightly cooler autumn, but that didn’t stop Nell from laying on her stomach in the green grass of the Silver Lake Meadows with a book in hand. She could feel the heat of the sun hit the back of her pale legs, and while the warmth was comforting, it was something she would undoubtedly regret much later and have her searching for the aloe vera stowed away in her apartment. This was the most peace and quiet she had in awhile. A small moment to herself, as long as she ignored the children running around aimlessly, stayed out of the way of people going for jogs around the reservoir, and resisted the urge to pet every dog that wagged its tail in her direction. Even still, she was restless, as if it was nearly impossible for her to relax in the first place. Rolling over onto her back, she used the book as a shield from the sun and continued reading. She was so consumed by her book that when a shadow loomed over her, it took her a second to realize it wasn’t a sudden solar eclipse. Feeling incredibly awkward if she had continued to read while someone was standing over her, she set her book down on her chest and looked up at the person with narrowed eyes. “Really? I was just getting to the good part.” @slchat
Shiloh had been stuck inside all week, due to working with a new artist. She loved her work, but she missed the sun on her skin. Spending all day looking for her friend she realized she would probably out somewhere. Taking a walk Shi spent all day walking around town, enjoying herself and looking for Eleanor. Finally ending up at the meadows she saw her laying there, walking over to her she stood over her. “Yeah, yeah” she said waving her off then letting her hand fall, “Come on, I have better plans than a book” she informed her.
“How cold do you reckon the water is?” Tyler questioned pointing at the lake. It was a hot and hazy summers’ day and the sun’s rays bounced off the water but he’d spent enough summers fooling around by the lake to know that appearances could be deceptive. “I bet I can last longer in there than you can”
Shiloh stretched her arms up in the air, letting the wind hit her body. Hearing the blonde next to her she look over and smirked, “Oh come on, you should know me better than that” she started walking in front of him, “I can always last longer than you” she stated with a wink. Removing her top it showed her bikini underneath, “It can’t be that cold”.

Background
Shiloh was born right in the city, but not to an amazing family. Both of her parents were junkys so Shi had to grow up fast and always fend for herself. Somehow she always tried to find the bright side, and hers was music. That was the only good thing her birth parents gave her, the love for music. Her parents were both rockstars or groupies in their time, hence the drug problem now.
At the age of fifteen the Scott family found her and decided to adopt her. She moved in right away and was a life she never knew before. People waiting on her hand and foot, buying anything she wanted, being taken to events with Chicago’s elite. It never changed Sloane though, she never let the money faze her, mainly because she still hung out with the same friend group she always had. She should’ve found others, but she loved the partying and drugs too much.
She ended up at USC to study music. After she graduated top of her class she moved on to start her own music producing company and moved to Silver Lake.

Biography
Alexandra grew up in a lifestyle most did not and would never think of. Her mother never wanted to be apart of her families lifestyle, said she rather just live in poverty than in that family, but in fact her mother was just a junky. At age seventeen Alex’s mother overdosed on heroin. Alex had no where else to turn but to the family she barely knew anything about.
After Alexandra called her uncles and grandma she found out what their lifestyle actually was. They were criminals, robbers, thieves. They came up with elaborate heists and complete them easily. When they would score they would go home and party until they couldn’t feel their face.
Alexandra always had to grow up fast, and she knew once she entered this family. You play with them or you die. After the first heist she was in, she was in them forever.
They all moved to the Crawford two years ago, for a while she kept low, never made many friends, unless she was just using them. Growing up like this she never became scared anymore. Nothing worried her, other than having the cops on her tail. The family moved because they knew how much watch they were under, and they could live recluse, but also close to big cities.
Her grandma gave her the nickname Blaze after their second robbery. Alexandra was too much of a girlie name she said, and she never wanted anyone to think she couldn’t handle her own
After their last heist almost four months ago now she has been under surveillance watch 24/7. The cops suspected her and the family did not want her going to jail. Recently she had been bartending for a small bar on the water. Her grandma didn’t want her baby girl going to jail, and they want the cops to lay off. It also allows her to become closer with the rich families on the island.

Usually Rion was the type that would walk straight home, greet her kitten - or kittens now since Paige had brought her another, and binge watch some hulu. With everything going on around her however she couldn’t definitely go for a drink and the last time she’d checked there was no liquor at her place. With a shot of tequila placed infront of her she smiled in thanks to the bartender, but was interrupted by the girl beside her when she was just about to down her drink. “Why?” She’ll as blankly, staring at the group down from the bar and recognizing a few people that she actually knew. “
Since Alexandra had been here everyone seemed like they had a major attitude problem. The girl was never the nicest where she used to live, and she said once she moved she would change herself, but from the looks of it there was no point in that. Putting the drink down after the girl spoke, “Damn. Does no one here enjoy themselves” she said rolling her eyes.
– “OH, I WAS JUST SEEING IF YOU WERE HAVING FUN,” PAIGE DEADPANS, throwing back the rest of her drink without clinking it with alexandra’s. “ how do you like pretending to be poor ? ” she smirks, “ is it everything you thought it would be ? is it fueling your art ? are you getting enough material to write in a letter home to mommy and daddy ? ” paige croons. “ save it. ”
Alex looked over and listened to the other blonde try to hurt her. Putting her glass down she leaned back in her seat crossing her arms, “I don’t understand why you are trying to come for me?” he asked turning her head to the side. “Maybe if you weren’t so negative you could see everyone here is trying to have a nice time, but oh let me guess. You are going to be the ‘oh poor little ol’ me’ ploy” Alexandra stated rolling here eyes.
The girl had just arrived to town and she spent the last two days unpacking her things, what she had left at least. Alexandra wanted to take the edge off, so she went to the closest bar she had seen since arriving. Sitting down she quickly got a few drinks in her, a little while later she heard a group of people cheering to the left of her, lifting her glass up to cheers as if they were in the same group, “Come on, are you not going to join in?” she asked the person beside her.
