Just found this cover I did almost a year ago but never posted anywhere. A soft piano version of The Temper Traps “Sweet Disposition”. Brendon Urie played a version not too different from this one on a live stream way back and I really liked it so I decided to try and record it myself.

One of my all time favorite bands. Saw them live a few years back in the smallest, hottest, stinkiest room one can imagine. Still one of the best shows i’ve ever been to. This song from their latest album is a banger!

Hey Mike! I was wondering if you had heard of a band called The Maine or listened to their new album, Lovely Little Lonely. I think you would really like it. If you do listen, I think the singles would be best to get a feel of it. "Black Butterflies & De Ja Vu" and "Bad Behavior". They have three instrumental tracks that tie the songs together and it's really cool. I don't know, might be something to check out if you're interested. :) On the topic of new albums, have you listened to Paramore's?

Thanks for the tip! I’ve heard of The Maine but i’ve never listened to anything by them, gonna do that now! I have listened to Paramore’s new album and I must say I like it. They did pretty much exactly what I had expected and hoped for and it’s cool to see Zac back on drums!

Hi. I just realized that sometime in the future, people are going to look at your videos now and say "Awww, fetus (whatever dumb nickname we inevitably give you)!" Have you ever thought about how your sound, aesthetic, and following will evolve and change throughout your career?

Haha! No we have no idea of what the future holds. We just do whatever we feel like doing at the time. I'm sure we will evolve/change in some way but we don't have a plan for it

NEW COVER // SCARED TO BE LONELY

Hi Mike! Just wanted to say I'm excited for the new cover to come out and happy to hear both you and Rick are still making music. I was wondering, how does it feel having the band's FIRST EP come out and what's it like writing new songs? Has the response from fans influenced your writing at all so far? And would you ever consider selling your digital artwork for commissions or for the band merch?

Hey! Hope you liked the cover! It feels great having released the first EP cause now that “first release pressure” is off. But then again there’s the new pressure now of wanting to outdo the first EP haha. The positive response has definitely given us a boost in confidence, and I’d say that’s the biggest way our fans/followers has influenced the writing!

Right now I don’t have enough artwork that i’m happy with to sell and I don’t have that much time for it. So if I were to start selling it’s not gonna be for a while, but yeah why not haha :)

This isn't a question but I really want to hear you sing with a Swedish accent. There are times when I can tell that you're faking an American accent, and though it sounds nowhere near bad, it just doesn't sound like an actual American person. (Especially in your cover of Geronimo, but I still love it) I'm really curious as to how you sing with your natural accent, I think it'd be cool. If you already have done something like that, could you point me to it? I wouldn't know cause I'm always late.

I actually don't think I could sing with more of a swedish accent than I already do even if I tried to. When I sing it just comes out the way it does and I can't really control it to make it more swedish, or american for that matter. So my sort-of-american-but-not-really-accent is actually my "natural accent".

Just like a lot of british people suddenly have an american accent when they sing. It's not that they are consciously trying to sound american, it just happens :)

Hi, me again haha 😳 Just wondering, what are you going to do after you have released the last song of your ep? I mean people (like me 😂) like the fact that there has been a new song each week. Are you going to continue to do this but with covers until your next orginal song(s) or something else? I love each song of your ep so far and i cant wait for the last one which i will love just as much! Thank you😍😘 - Charly x

We will most likely not be able to put something up each week but once the EP is released we will definitely continue doing covers and also work on original songs in between covers. Once we’ve finished a few original songs we like we might release them as another EP or if we have a lot of songs, an album. Or maybe even just a single now and then. Time will tell! :)
