My only wish for Christmas is for my wonderful hubby to get the extensive therapy he needs. They have discharged him from all therapies. PT discharged him one month after being home. Speech did absolutley nothing for him. OT was awesome! Megan taught me a few things to do. I would love to get him to the @abilitylab! Is there such a thing as make a wish for adults? He deserves so much more in life. I see him trying so hard. I only have so much I can offer him, therapy wise that is. Sadie playing the matching game with her daddy. I told him to get her. And boy did he try. His arm was shaking and lifted his head. She is a great motivator for him. I am putting this out to the world and praying to the Lord Jesus Christ. His therapies end as of tomorrow. Insurance only pays for so long. He has been coming along slow and steady. I need help with continuing his therapies. My wish gas always been to get him to the Shirley Ryan Ability Lab. They have state of the art equipment to get him going in the right direction. Then they teach me how to continue at home. Please Jesus perform a miracle on my husband. Practiced with speaking valve. No drop in O2. OT came today. Sat in his bedside chair for 45 minutes. When she left I cut his hair and gave him a shave.
