okay so here’s the deal, this blog is going on hiatus for a bit and i’m going to focus on writing luke patterson on a solo blog. you can find him here @sunsetsphantom and this is where i’m going to be for a while. i will have my queue running, it has about 91 replies in it and i’m unsure how long it will run until but yeah. when i return to this blog, i am not entirely sure if i will keep all threads or what. but i just need to try to take a break and do what my brain is wanting me to do and try to keep myself happy for a bit. i’ll have a promo for luke reblogged here tomorrow, but if you see this and want to follow, feel free to. see you all around, i love you all. <3

first kiss   &&   shy kiss

           Reggie always the flirty kind of person, it’s not really that much of a secret - it’s just how he get’s by and interact sometimes, most of the time it means nothing, just wanting to help others feel appreciated, so why is it that around Luke it has been falling flat on his face, that - it just doesn’t come as easy. Though, he thinks he knows why, if he looks into his heart and the way he’s been feeling around Luke lately, he knows what it is. It kind of both scares him, yet he wants to find out more. So, he supposes that’s how he’s found himself here - in front of Luke, with a shy smile spreading across his lips as he twists his fingers together before in a slight sudden burst of courage where he goes to grab hold of Luke’s jaw - when all of a sudden his nerves are flaking out on him, and he’s not sure what he was thinking. He probably wasn’t thinking this through.

              He bites his lip lightly, as he takes his eyes from Luke’s eyes before casting them downward to his lips, eyes going back up to Luke’s eyes. “I…” Then, even though he is so full of nerves, he leans in - closing the gap slowly, giving Luke the chance to pull away if he wanted too. When lips meet, it’s soft and shy as he moves his against Luke’s. Is this how he imagined he would ever kiss Luke? No, but it’s honestly amazing and he wouldn’t change this moment as he can feel himself feel lighter, because this was definitely answering the questions he’s been having inside his head. When Reggie pulls away, he is biting his lip again, and he knows for a fact that his face is bright red, as he looks downward to the ground. “Um… I just… I hope that was okay to do.”

Luke has known for a while now that there’s something there when it comes to Reggie. Feelings, deep ones. But it’s been hard to admit anybody, let alone himself, too afraid of what could happen if he put his feelings out there. Too afraid of losing one of his most favorite people in the world. Hell, Reggie is probably his favorite person in the world. There’s just far too much at risk to let his feelings get in the way, so he’s been doing his best to push them down, ignore them and convince himself they didn’t exist. Except now it’s just the two of them and Reggie is looking at him and he’s looking back and the other is grabbing his jaw and he can’t stop thinking about all those feelings and that familiar fluttery feeling in his chest that he’s come to associate with Reggie is returning.

He can’t stop looking at Reggie and when the other’s gaze casts downs to his lips, he sucks in a breath, only partly prepared for what he thinks is about to come. Then Reggie is kissing him and he almost can’t breathe, but he’s reminding himself to despite the fact that he technically doesn’t have to, and he’s kissing him back and this isn’t exactly how he’s dreamed this would go, but it’s also kind of perfect. When Reggie pulls away, Luke truly can’t stop staring at him, his own cheeks tinged pink. He really wants to just grab Reggie and kiss him over and over again, but he holds himself back from doing so, taking in another breath and straightening up a little. The softest of smiles makes it’s way onto his face and he reaches out to gently grab Reggie’s chin, so the other is looking at him. “It was okay, Reg. It was ... Fuck, it was more than okay. It was perfect. ... I ...” He’s trying to find the right words to say what he wants to say, but for once the guitarist is at a loss for words. He clears his throat, trying again. “I’ve, uh, I’ve wanted that for a while, honestly. Does, uh, does that ... does this mean ... do you ... uh, does this mean something new for us? Do ... you, uh, like me ... too?”

“alex ...” luke calls out, dragging out the ‘x’ in his name. a wide grin comes to his face once he locates the other and he doesn’t hesitate before practically running to the other arms open wide. as soon as he’s close enough he wraps his arms tightly around the blonde. refusing to let go. “have you missed me?! ‘cause i missed you! it was far too many hours to be without my favorite blonde!” in reality it’s only been about fifteen minutes. he tightens his hold on the other, contented sigh leaving his lips as he nuzzles him slightly.

luke doesn’t know why he feels so nervous to talk to alex about this of all people, but he does and if his heart actually beat it would likely be racing right now. “so uh, i stole carlos’ laptop earlier and i was ... looking into some stuff and uh ... “ he trails off, chewing his lower lip and not quite looking at alex. “i might’ve uh, found a word? to like ... describe me? like, uh, sexuality wise. because uh, i don’t think ... i’m straight. and i found this thing it’s called ‘pansexual’ and i think it might be what i am.”

"reg?” luke speaks up suddenly where his head is resting against reggie’s shoulder. he feels that weird fluttery feeling in his chest begin to make it’s presence known at the subject he’s about to approach, but he pushes past it and continues speaking. “now that we’re y’know ... dead. do you think that means this is it for us? like, uh, when it comes finding love and getting married and all that stuff? like ... we don’t get that anymore?” he pauses for a second before adding the next part, trying not to let his nerves get the best of him. “i mean, i guess unless we find ... another ghost?”

luke practically jumps out of his skin when he hears someone enter the studio, but relaxes once he realizes who it is. “oh, reg! hey! just the person i wanted to see!” he exclaims, bright grin coming to his face. “so ... i may have technically stolen something, but i promise it was for a good cause and you can’t tell alex or julie. but ... look!” he goes over to the door to the studio bathroom and gently pushes it open and out runs a tiny little brown and white puppy. “and guess what?! he can see us! and we can touch him!”
