I’m just annoyed. I feel as though my life is the equivalent to that of a hard working and loyal employee who receives zero recognition. Picture this: You’ve been working at the same job, for yeeeears, never late, always reliable, and you stay over time all the time because you love your job. Then your boss hires someone new (again) and gives them all the recognition in the world for tasks smaller than what you have accomplished. Heck, that person even gets the promotion you’ve been dying for after only working there for a couple months. Everyone knows you were the right — or actually the deserving person for the job, yet you’re looked over.. like always. But, you stay at the job because regardless of how you are treated you care entirely too much about the company you work for and the people you take care of.

That there is exactly my life. Has been for the past 8 years. I’m tired.
