   “Nah, it’s fine,” she assured, waving a hand side to side as if to dismiss his words. “I just...don’t see many monsters around here, you know? So I don’t really expect it when someone shows up...” The most company she’s had any given day was Riverperson, on occasion.       Always nice to see them around.

   “Akira,” she responded, nodding her head and taking his hand, giving it a firm, but light shake. “Polaris, huh...? That sounds really cool. I think I’ll stick with that.”

   It was a pretty quiet day today in the Underground. More fresh snow on the ground, the world quiet, but distantly bustling... Staying away from the main hub of Snowdin gave that effect, but it was nice. After all, they couldn’t handle the idea of being around others. One half for shyness, the other half for being easily overstimulated.

   Out here, by themselves and in control of interactions... Yes, that was the better way to live. Besides, their mere existence was a concern that the fewer knew about it, the better.

   ...Or not.

   “Oh?” Small, floating wings flared in alarm at the sudden greeting, gaze pulling away from the “art” she’d been drawing into the fresh snow. For a moment, she froze...before attempting her best to return the sentiments.

   “H-hi... Yeah, uh... I live further out, so that’s no surprise... I...prefer to be on my own.” She’s trying her best here.
