we could talk about the beautiful investigation into classism and lookism that nikkigames could’ve posed with the blood curse had they decided to expand on that but no. i guess we’re not doing that anymore

THIS they came close with queen lilith i love that girl but still weak sauce. the messages about beauty love and self acceptance fall somewhat short when it’s only beautiful people given platforms to talk about them

“beauty makes miracles” factoid ACTUALLY incorrect it comes at the attrition of the common person because when you build a world order centered around one advantaged class (stylists, + designers/models), those without styling power, who can’t keep up with the fast culture of trends or the constant expense of new clothes, who can’t meet the barriers to entry nor have the resources to even try are unfortunately left on the fringes of a society that pedestals looks and fashion (i dont think i need to explain how this is not good.) are also doubly defenseless against all means of subjugation because simply punishing acts of physical harm is not a blanket good that eliminates all instances of violence and evil from the world. those who can’t style have lost the one deterrent protecting against those more powerful than which is the threat of their retaliation. then where is your voice in this world when you have no arms to raise? how can you escape a corner when you have no fangs to bare? that’s no miracle.

Lol. Am I the only one who wasn't particularly surprised by this revelation? I always kinda found it implicitly clear.

I really liked the story of this one. Not only are age swapped Marina & Aeon too cute, but it was so cool to revisit all the previous anniversary events!
