“My, my. TROUBLE at OUI? How utterly scandalous. Or it would be if I knew what anyone actually did there.”
“Booze, sex, drugs. What else could they be doing in those skyscrapers all day?”
Epimetheus nodded as the other spoke. They were cool, and definitely shared a common denominator in their hatred for Zeus. “Uh- Besides getting beat the fuck up by OUI’s HR lead with potatoes I think we’re doing okay.” Prometheus was the only one with a chance at doing much damage to Zeus and his empire but with everything going on there was little to no chance for them to make any moves. Not without getting themselves exposed.Â
Helios couldn’t help it. He laughed, loud and boisterous, far too amused at his brethren’s troubles. “Ah, getting beaten up by a gorgeous woman is hardly the worst trouble in the world. Sometimes, it’s just foreplay.” The titan winked, then gulped another sip of drink. He let the weight of his chin fall on a closed fist, elbow firmly lodged on the table. “Do you like her? Despite the physical altercation?”
“The late 1800s,” she shrugged gently, “I spent a fair while around that part of the world. It isn’t nearly as incredible as it was back then. Circe somewhat liked that her father seemed interested in her past lives and she was about to ask him what the land was like over there in the 13th century, he spoke again and she rolled her eyes, "Charming,” she commented, not caring to speak further
“Late 1800s....significantly after European witch trials then,” Helios stated, thought it was really meant to be posed as a question. His way of asking if she had been okay. But of course he was too emotionally stunted to simply say that. “I’m simply saying that I was born with at least that advantage. Can you believe I have too actually go to the gym this time around? It’s the first time I haven’t pursued a career that doesn’t involved significant amounts of fighting.”
“Smart boy.” She chuckled. “Actually using your brain.”
“Or perhaps I just want to say the right thing to get in your pants. Using a different kind of head if you will.”
Luxury Light // Helios & Hermes
“That is exactly what the line what to do. When you want to travel to local places, like… for example, Salvador de Bahia in Brazil, you have to take two planes, even three. We will go wherever our client wants to go.” With time he was reaffirmation what exactly he thought in the beginning: he was the proper person to the job, even when his field was not exactly advertising.
“What I can do is give to you a list of locations, what in my expertise are the best places to know the world, the true gems. And with that, you can give me a budget. I am open when is about money, but of course, I want to see well spent the money.”
Hermes thought for a moment. He was not sure if tell the name but in the end, Gabriel will find her. “Helen Rathe. Is a good friend of mine.” Also, he was being more than precaution to know well the mortal names.
“Sounds like the sort of thing the rich would like,” Helios shrugged. His taste for traveled severely diminished in the recent lives. Or at least his taste for air travel. being in a plane so close to the sky felt like a privilege he didn’t deserve since Phaeton’s death. Road trips on the other hand, were much more his style.Â
“Very well. Helen Rathe will do. I’d suggest Natasha Fay as well. Dark hair and light eyes are always a good combination. Very classic.” The photographer reached down for the strap of his messenger, then stood, stretching until his shirt lifted enough to show a strip of skin.
“I’ll come up with a formal proposal and have my office send it to yours.” The titan tapped a two fingered salute at his temple as a cheeky goodbye. “Laters, messenger boy.”
Circe shrugged, “I honestly don’t care, Helios. Close or far, this is your decision.” her father was a good photographer, she wasn’t going to deny that. If he had been hired for a shoot, she wasn’t going to step in the way of his creative process, just like she wouldn’t want someone telling her what to do when it came to her plants. She respected him enough for that, even if she didn’t quite like him all the time, “Stonehenge is beautiful,” she commented, “I lived close by for a few years a hundred years ago.”Â
Now that was interesting. “Exactly when was that?” In all his lives, he was never quite sure when he met other gods or titans. He spent so many of his lifetimes licking his wounds that it felt like now, in this life, he’d finally woken up and was actually living again. “I was in England for a bit back in...” He scratched his chin. “13th century? And of course, I was born there in this one. The ladies are so fond of this accent.”
He wondered if it was a good idea, hanging out with another titan. But truth be told, if any of the titan kids understood what it was like to be screwed by the Olympians it was Helios and his sisters. At least they weren’t suck ups like Nike and Kratos. Zelus was the exception to this, he was different, not like his siblings. And he appreciated food. Epimetheus decided to go with the flow as he walked through the bar. Immediately he spotted Helios and made his way over to the titan but not before the owner recognized him and greeted him with a heart handshake and hug.Â
“Yeah, the owner’s pretty cool.. It’s on the house so knock yourself out.” He joked before ordering himself an IPA from their local brewery. “So how’s life been, how are your sisters- you have sisters right?”
“I do have sisters. They’re...busy.” Selene, his favorite sister if he was being honest (they were twins after all), had chosen to get close to Athena in order to undermine her; he understood the concept but he wasn’t fond of it. Subterfuge wasn’t exactly the sun titan’s strong suit.Â
“One of them works for the security boss lady at OUI,” he elaborated. “Puts her in a good position should anything of interest happen.” He drank long and deep from his mug. “On the other hand, she works for OUI, so there’s that. What about you? And your brother? Both of you doing alright since all this shit’s happened?”
“And I’m always the victor.” Nike boasted. Her eyebrow raised, curious if he was challenging her. “In any way.”
“If you say so,” Helios grinned. “Far be it from me to disagree.”

text -- photographer: [is now smirking at her phone] I think this should remain professional. If I fooled around with every man who's sent me inappropriate pictures I'd beat out Zeus.
text -- photographer: Or maybe I'd just be a better Aphrodite.
text -- my fair rosze: ah you're no fun.
text -- my fair rosze: gross. both of them. you don't have to fool around with EVERY man...just the one ;)
