So as Mio drider goes brief description:
Upper body from the hip bones and above is all human. Below that line is a full spider body, think DND driders or the drider from BG3. I think it would be a full eight legs and not just six and count the arms as the last two. His arms end in the same coloration as his spider legs but they aren't fuzzy and the gradient ends around his elbow.
I also picture him having two small round eyes on his forehead, not a full eight but imagine like jumping spider eyes -> ◉ ◉ above the normal human ish ones. No visible sclera (eye whites), just that pretty blue~
Also two large upper canine teeth that if he's not paying attention to they slip out of his mouth and look silly -> v——v very vampiresque.
I have been searching for spiders that fit for what I want for him. And that's something for me bc I'm not a huge fan of spiders and used to be deathly afraid of them. I specifically am looking at the endemic to Japan species and seeing if any line up to what I want his habits to be.
I think he's more likely to be a trap type spider bc of the building and creating aspect. But he could also be an arboreal type bc they're always on the move due to hunting without using webs (they make hammocks for themselves which is kinda cute)
Now for behavior!
When he does go to sleep he nestles down with his legs kinda like this -> ^8^ but also he can curl his legs under. Very polite looking when he does that bc lil spider paws with the teeny claws and he crosses the front ones like a cat.

He traded it to Yuri originally for study and Yuri made a solution to remove the stickiness while keeping it intact. Mio trades him for more of the solution and applies it himself to his own web sometimes. Once he treats it in the solution he can trade it to Romeo as super light, strong and breathable thread. These guys have a whole trade and barter system on the island.
Mio also does a lot of trade with Vagastrom for the scrap metal there, and plenty of others for natural ores and minerals that don't occur in Dio! Apparently Sho likes to use the thread to tie up lunch containers and keep them shut until they get to their hungry customers.
He's also very fast bc of how many legs he's got. Can and will hang around on the ceiling for hours. Very quiet if he's approaching you though so be careful or you might get jump scared.
His legs keep his upper body much higher than some of the others so he may bend his legs a lot to try and be eye level with Luna and other bipedal folks. Or he just leans over and stares down and gives himself neck pain lol.
He might be strong enough for her to actually sit on him, like pressed to his back and hanging on like it's a motorcycle while he walks. If her bike gets messed up he can carry her around Dio or wherever his next job may be. She is super light to him after all~ (ridiculous surprise flirt he could just fix her bike...)
