This is evidently a slightly unpopular opinion, especially in regard to recent Yui news, but I’m very excited for the changes Babymetal has been going through recently. Am I glad Yui left? I mean, no; however, she’s been absent a while and finally having actual confirmation is all you can ask. Plus, she left of her own volition; her health did somewhat force her hand, but still, we have to respect her decision. In terms of the shows though, I’m beyond thrilled they’re evolving; as a gifmaker, having to watch literally the exact same show but across years is exhausting and dull. Change happens and sometimes, like with Yui, it’s not great; but then some change, like the look of the girls and shows all together, are necessary and exciting. If you seriously want them to do the same old show they’ve done a thousand times for literally just under a decade, then I’m not sure what to tell you other than they’ve got plenty of old shows you can keep on watching. But!! For those of us who have been wanting something new, these changes are gonna be amazing 🦊🦊
