I was tagged by @qolmerea AND @kuroreishi! I had to dig out my old HD (one of them) to find any screenshots of Shin from when I first started playing Aion. Needless to say..he didnât change much. In fact I only fixed his appearance once in the 4 (or more) years I played. When I first started playing aion had just begun their F2P, I had wanted to play it years before that but couldnât afford the extra expense. I ran solo until I was in the 40âČs, and leveling was WAY slower then...and one day in panda i got a whisper from a person asking if i wanted to join her legion, Shapeshifters. I wasnât a super social person, but gave it a shot. I ended up really enjoying my time with that legion, but after awhile i took a long break from Aion and upon my return the legion had changed, lots of the older members had left, and I didnt click with the attitudes of the newer members, so I left. I stayed legionless for awhile, until I was running through Tia one day and ran into possibly the best BG Iâve ever met. Sydow. I joined his legion, Dragonlore, which was small legion, but packed with really good people. I became a dep of that legion after a short time, and shortly more after that Sydow had to leave the game for real life duties, and I was voted as the new BG. The trusted few I had as my deps tried to keep the legion alive, and we even had one of Switzerlands (MANY) alts, and Ayahusca as well on board. Sadly, I made the decision to finally disband, distributing the money left in the LWH evenly to my 4 trusted deps. After that, I lost interest in Aion. About a year or so later I decided to give it another shot, and bouned around between small legions trying to find a home.
Thats when one of my friends, and former dep from Dragonlore, convinced me to join Ascension.  I wasenât really a âbigâ legion person, but I gave it a shot. It was fun for awhile, but I clashed with the BG. Hard. The bright side is though, I met some amazing people. Like Qolmerea, who is probably still to this day my closest friend, and others like Kuroreishi and Sanctalilium. After Ascension split up, I quit again. I eventually came back, joined friends legions, ran solo, and eventually ended up in Incoming. But after so many years, I totally lost interest in Aion. I have a lot of memories of it, some bad, some good. But my interest in the game is dead. It was a good run, even though I never became one of the âBig Namesâ, I realized a lot more people knew me then I thought, and I see the people who used to whisper me out of the blue with âSo and so said youâre a really good sorc and could give me advice...â are up there in the ranks and running with the big kids themselves now. And Iâll always be known to one particular group as the Sorc Tank :D
