i hope we get tim shielding lucy with his body at some point and getting shot/stabbed/hurt for it. the whole way back to where they’re staying (assuming it’s when they’re uc), she’s half-crying, half-reprimanding him for doing something so stupid and when they get back she patches up his wounds and grumbles about how careless he was being and telling him that’s he isn’t fucking invincible for god’s sake! he just watches her the whole time with the most soft expression and when she’s done, she gets up to leave in a huff but he stops her by grabbing her wrist and says, “i’d rather it be me than you. if it ever comes down to it again, i’ll always protect you first.”
