I haven't been able to travel as much as I like to, so I've been growing my flowers around here. As always, they start little and grow big, big, way bigger than me.
I see a lot of crosswalks as I go around town. But when I see one meant for guide dogs, I stop and look carefully - and then I look carefully again after taking a photo.
I was out for a drive today, when I saw a pair of deer foraging. I’m pretty sure at least one of them got to see me too.
I haven’t been able to go out lately, so I’ve been keeping myself busy at home. Today I made a sheet of clear ice in the freezer, and it came out so well, I decided to take a photo with it.
Went out on the town for the first time in a while, and got to meet a whole lot of empty cans, on their way to be filled up.
Some people might be upset to get an empty box - but not me. I like that my empty box owns what it is, and did a good job.
I got to listen to an old radio from the 1940s - back when at night, a clear channel radio station could be heard halfway across the country.
The first freeze of the year came, and so I had to say goodbye to my sunflowers. But that just means that next year I can say hello to their children.
I saw a car with balloons on it when was out shopping. I don’t know what they were for, but I don’t need to - it was special enough I took a photo.
A church by me has a pick-your-own pumpkin fundraiser. It’s halloween evening, so I guess the pumpkins that are left are the ones that weren’t chosen. And so I chose to take a picture with all of them.
I visited the Bush Presidential Library and Museum on my trip to Dallas. I think for me, the highlight was hanging out with Barney, Miss Beazley, and India. None of them talked very much, but that’s fine - sometimes it’s just fun to hang out!
I took a photo with the last two sunflowers of the year. They’re small again, smaller that I am. But I’m glad they took the trouble to exist.
I love it when I look out the window, and see something unexpected. I was on the roof of a hotel I stayed at, and found a secret garden.
Some rainbows happen in the sky. Others are near the ground. But I feel lucky whenever I can be near a rainbow.
I got to see a Jacquard Loom at the National Museum of Industrial History. Since it’s used for knitting fabric, and I’m made of fabric, I wonder if it’s an ancestor of the machine that made my body.
When I get up on stage, I can't help but feel like a star.
I’m a heart-cat, so I was able to go inside no problems. But I felt kind of bad for all the dogs and cat-cats who had to wait in front of the door.
